Now here is a feel good story for you.
I was having problems with my Vespa, my key was stuck in the ignition, which is no good. I called Scooter Island and told then about the problem, they advised me that this issue was not a common problem, but they would take a look at it. Before they went crazy pulling the bike apart and throwing around crazy numbers for repairs, with a little elbow grease and a bit of WD-40 and were able to fix the problem! I pulled out my wallet to pay for the repairs, and I was told to put it away, that it would be no charge.
I begged and pleaded for them to take some sort of payment, as I know anywhere else would have charged me a fortune. Since they would have none of it, we settled a cup of tea and we'd call it even.
No matter the industry or where you are, it's great to find an honest business that truly cares about their customers! :) I absolutely recommend them for any work for your bike, old or new.
Compared to the competition, they are extremely reasonable for both new and used Vespas or scooters. read more
