Hands down the BEST burger I've had in my 26 years of living. I watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives all the time, and this restaurant was featured in season 28. This blueberry bacon burger was featured in the episode as well and it looked amazing. So of course I had to try it ! The sweetness from the blueberry sauce counters with the tart bite from the blue cheese and it's the best pairing. Topped with red onions and fresh arugula and it is perfection. OMG.... This place is amazing. I had the spicy fried chicken good ole boy and the buffalo fries. My hubby had the same sandwich and the garlic fries. Everything was delicious. The hubby kept saying "You know the food is good when the FRIES are just a good a the SANDWICH!!" AND you get to go next door to the BAR to wait for your food and have a drink while you wait and with your food. My beer didn't last too long with that spicy fried chicken sandwich AND the Buffalo Fries Smothered in that RedHot hot sauce. They put that ish on everything!! Ahhh, Scolari's...good for my soul but bad for my heart. I still remember hearing about this place years ago, and the first time we stopped by, their fryer had broken down. That was right after we had read all these reviews about their fries, so it was pretty disappointing. HOWEVER, we've more than made up for that over the years. I personally like their scampi fries, although the husband prefers their house cut fries with their aioli of the day. The menu varies, but I've generally liked most of their burgers. Once in a while, I'll get the chicken lettuce wraps to assuage my guilt about getting fries. Seating is limited, but as reviews have stated, you can get the food delivered to the bar next door. I debated whether 4 or 5 stars for Scolari's. I decided that it ultimately comes down to the food, and that's 5 stars. The 4 star part is there is no seating inside, which means you have to sit outside...so just plan to go on a sunny day! I love the hot fried chicken sandwich. It may not be the healthiest open, but it is delicious. And it isn't spicy, it's hot spicy. And that's great. Paired with the really tasty french fries, it's a great combination. Giving 3 stars for the creativity and taste of the food. But as you can see in the picture, I risked a hospital visit by consuming it. This burger was basically raw meat throughout. And, "threw out" is what I should have done, being its RAW and meat processing plants are in a Covid death spiral. But being damn hungry and pissed I spent about $20 for this, I decided to take the risks of worms and/or Covid and ate much of it. Again, delicious as hell but outrageously undercooked. No idea how any hamburger chef could screw up so badly, normally "medium" is the go-to unless someone requests otherwise. The buffalo fries and cheeseburger is always my go to. The buffalo fries are hands down the best thing on the menu with the burger coming in second. The fries are spicy and savory, super delicious, I could eat the buffalo fries every day! The cheeseburger is very good and juicy, perfect middle inside. I also don't know what they do with their buns but it's so good and just melts in your mouth. Only con is, this is a very small shop so I recommend doing to go orders. You can get the chicken sandwich fried or char-grilled and regular or Nashville hot. The cashier asked if we'd like to sit outside or next door (Lucky 13 Bar) since Scolari's is pretty tiny. Keep in mind Lucky 13 is CASH only. So about 15m later our order got delivered. The chicken was good but not mind-blowing. Think 4505 hipster swanky burgers and bbq minus the bbq and covered outdoor seating and add in Lucky 13 bar next door with skeeball to burn off some of your burger. We would've loved to have ordered our burgers and taken our order number next door to the bar where they will deliver your food, but we had our daughter with us. Also take into consideration that we were lured here by the amazing brisket photos on Yelp and it was a HUGE disappointment upon arrival to learn that the brisket is only available when it's a special. The menu is limited and there is a reason for it, the place is literally a walk up counter and every inch of the place has been set up as an open kitchen. There are 6 bar stools available for seating and a couple of plastic bistro tables on the sidewalk in front of the "restaurant". Since we had our daughter in a stroller with us, it wasn't the best place to eat but the staff made us feel welcome and we parked ourselves at the counter to eat. I really wanted to say this place was amazing but with the limited menu and some items not available we decided to play it safe and ordered 3 cheeseburgers. On one burger we added bacon which is a good quality thick Smokey bacon. Now this is where they veered off course for me. The ONLY cheese option is American, you can pay $2 more for blue cheese. They serve their burgers medium and in fear of getting rare I asked for medium well. If you're only serving burgers you should be able to cook them properly, out of three burgers only one was cooked medium. My sister wasn't able to finish her burger after getting a mouth full of raw hamburger and instead of medium well, my burger was well done and the hubbs was the winner winner with an actual medium burger. My fave was the hand cut fries and both the hubbs and sis loved the local soda. The staff was great and immediately noticed my sister wasn't happy with her burger and offered to make her another one, when she declined they immediately reimbursed her for the burger. Worthy of a return visit during date night and eating at the bar next door. Before going I recommend that you call for the specials first. It's good quality food and you do pay for it, for a cheeseburger, fries and soda it's $20. read more

I've walked by and seen other people eating the blueberry bacon blue cheese burger and thought "I need to come try this" but just didn't get around to it until tonight. I was literally mmm-ing and ahhhh-ing the entire time as I devoured this entire thing! Best burger I've eaten in my entire life!!! Don't let the exterior fool you. This is a hole in the wall burger place. There's some counter seating inside and two large picnic style tables outside. Really not fine dining here. You order, grab and number and pick a place to sit. Menu has meat and vegetarian options. A handful of different types of fancy fries, a handful of burger options, tacos, salads and a board of specials. I went straight for the blueberry bacon blue cheese au poivre burger because anything that has the two words BACON and BLUE CHEESE immediately make my mouth water. Added a half order of garlic scampi fries because can't have burgers without fries. Order took a while because they deliver food to the bar next door. It was a bit disappointing to see them walk out with burgers in hand only to walk past us and go next door. But good things are worth waiting for so be patient because this burger was so worth it. Burger was cooked medium rare to perfection. Juicy and flavorful. Every single bite had that blueberry sauce and creamy blue cheese oozing out. Add that crunch from the bacon and zing from the arugula and you literally have the world's best burger for $16! I enjoyed it so much I want to go back tomorrow just to eat it again! I know there are other things on the menu but I really don't like messing with a good thing so I plan on coming back next week to order the same burger again. Fries were really oily.
