We had a nice 10 minute walk and strolled into a beautiful outdoor beer garden, complete with swing set for the kids. The atmosphere alone had me ready to vote 5 stars, and then the beer and food came... amazing! The server brought an amuse bouche from the kitchen of a cold radish soup that was phenomenal. We got our beers and then shared a garden salad with greens straight from the garden and a perfect buttermilk dressing. They had 2 specials with chanterelles so we ordered one of each - the seasonings were spot on and we devoured the plates. Kids were thrilled with their simple pasta dishes. We couldn't resist dessert and it was the perfect ending to a great meal... one strawberry creme brûlée topped with freshly marinated berries and a warm chocolate soufflé, reminiscent of a Black Forest cake, as it came with a side of glazed cherries and vanilla cream. Top notch food, in a relaxed and casual environment... could not have asked for a better way to end our vacation!

We don't have Bavarian cuisine where we live so didn't really have anything to compare it to, but the food here was absolutely delicious. Our server was so sweet and recommended some "hot" meals to us as there were main dishes on the menu that are served cold. I wish I could call out the dishes by name but I can't remember so just reference the photos attached to this review. We sat in the outdoor patio because it was such a nice day. A cool part of our experience is that we met some extremely friendly German locals, and the four of us sat there in good conversation for over two hours. Excellent food. Epic vibes. Beautiful set up situated in a well-kept neighborhood. And best of all, little to no tourists as this spot is away from the city center. Would highly recommend!

We luckily were able to snag the last available outdoor table without a reservation due to our amazing waitress making ends meet. She was such a doll throughout the entire dinner and spoke very good English. She was knowledgeable about my gluten allergy and made safe food recommendations. Due to their menu consisting of many types of Schnitzel, the baby back ribs was a safe bet (and it honestly has been years since having ribs). These ribs were not at all like they make in America which made me so happy! It was so unique with a DELICIOUS homemade barbecue sauce that tasted way better than any sauces I've ever had (including Texas sauces). It was also accompanied by a potato and fresh sour cream so I could dip as I pleased. If you're in the Munich area, this place is certainly somewhere you must stop to immerse yourself with authentic, fresh food!

Excellent food with pleasant and fast service. The rib eye (about $16 euro) was served with potatoes and salad, and the flavors were great. The steak was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place. The food menu was small but with a good variety, and they serve a large variety of beers, with wine and cocktails.
