Pros: *They teach pointe…read more*They compete and place in the top 3 at every competition *The studio is huge, has plenty of bathrooms and dressing space *The owners are teachers themselves Cons: *I don't feel they give enough attention to the younger dancers and sort of just let them run amock. *You will never hear the instructors correcting the students. I feel that the 6 - 7 - 8 year olds should be corrected when they are running through a drill and doing something wrong or not good enough/to their full potential. So, in a way I feel the classes are a waste of money. *The studio and rooms are always freezing cold! I mean freezing to the point where the kids have to wear hoodies in class. Traditional dance studios are boiling hot and would never air condition or allow a room to get cold. Dancers have a better chance of injuring themselves in a freezing cold room. In all, I'm not sure how I feel. To me, it seems like this is more of a place where a mom and daughter, who have dance experience, just randomly decided to open up a studio for the fun of it and more for recreation instead of actually training children to become dancers. I guess it's ok if you're just looking for an after school activity and want to spend a ton of money on costumes for a recital at the end of the year, or if you're one of the lucky ones with talent, for competitions. But if you want training, you won't find that here.

I went into this store this past Sunday. I was very excited to see a crystal shop right here in…read moreTamaqua! It's definitely needed. Had no idea it was even here! There is a welcoming front room with glass display case of various different crystals for purchase. Not only that, there is a selection of Tarot Cards, beautiful chakra oils (made by Daphne herself), apparel, scented candles infused with various crystals too. There is incense, incense holders and even some beautiful 3D printing decor available. There is also a back room with inexpensive stones to choose from, small towers on the shelves along with other unique items. Additionally Reiki, past life regression and Tarot card reading is available by appointment. Just call. I did not partake in any of the aforementioned services but I can tell you I love this shop! Steven and Daphne recently opened up this shop. They also educated me on the beautiful Goddess Fortuna. Steven has created a gorgeous statue of her. Very interesting. Owners are super friendly. There are so many beautiful things to see and the store is continuing to be stocked, so I predict there will always be something new and beautiful. I scored a beautiful rainbow moonstone and a tourmaline. Please support this small business- this is what we need in our town- fresh new businesses.

Visit this festival every year. Always end up spending way to much on hot sauces. Shout out to…read moreHell's Kitchen for having some crazy sauces. Carl's kicking chili, worth the 8$ a bowl. Very good Now, the dark side. Really don't like the suggested 4.00 $ donation by the Boy Scouts. They should not be blocking the entrance begging for money. Then when nobody is coming in they are fanning this cash around and playing with it. Leaders, do your job and show them the proper way to act. Then it's very disturbing to see the Fire Police screaming "dick head" to a truck that made a mistake going into a lot the wrong way. Professional people need to act accordingly. Shame it's things like this can truly ruin an event. Plus the kids that are around, buddy was it necessary. I've done security and yes I yelled, but never names at people. Yo, Hey, buddy.... Think about the children next time. Other than that. Fun and plan on returning next year. Hopefully these stands invest in stickers next year. Love stickers
