We have had family portraits done before, but Michele was by far the most professional, kind, and amazing photographer I've ever seen! 10/10 recommend, and we'll be using her again! :)

I wanted the girls to have something to remember their first home with, and for my husband and I to have something to remember these amazing, yet hectic, times with. AND BOY DID SHE DELIVER! Our girls, who tend to be shy, warmed up to Sam right away, and she was able to capture their personalities perfectly...it was as if she knew them since the day they were born. Just amazed! Since I planned my Chicago wedding from California, I only met Samantha two days before the wedding and on the day of the wedding we felt like she was an old friend. The photographs are unbelievable! I'm sure all the photographers at North Shore Photography are fabulous, but if you want Anna be sure to book way ahead and there's also an extra fee to reserve her. Throughout the planning process I knew I chose right because Anna and her office were wonderful to work with. They were super accommodating working around the synagogues schedule. We first met up with Anna last July to do a photo shoot outside at Ravinia Festival, which was where we were hosting the party. It was the most gorgeous summer day, although pretty hot. Anna worked fast in the heat to get amazing photos of my daughter and overall it was super chill and just fun. We spent a lot of time with Anna the weekend of the bat mitzvah and pretty much every member of my family remarked how much they liked her. She was super organized, got thru all the family pics so fast and just very easy to be around. She clearly does this a lot- actually i believe our synagogue photos were her 3rd shoot just that day! Anna and her assistant did a wonderful job capturing it all the night of the party. We did another round of quick family photos and then they got everything in the moment. I wasn't expecting to see pics for at least a few weeks, but had them 5 days later...and they were just perfect. She got some great family pics, shots of my daughter having the time of her life and even photos of all the little details that we created to make event extra special. I've already signed the contract to have Anna photograph my son's bar mitzvah and look forward to seeing her again!

We were wrangling a three-year-old, a Rhodesian Ridgeback-boxer-beagle and a pitbull, and she made everything look relaxing and joyful. All three babies had fun and looked good. So did my shy husband and I. Laurie also did some light retouching at my request, and the results looked natural and beautiful. She is exceptionally good at retouching. She is personally a sweetheart as well. I am so glad I met her 11 years ago, and I hope to come back to her at least every year. She always blows us away!

From start to finish, she was professional, enthusiastic, fun to work with, and of course, best of all, the photos were WONDERFUL! She was incredibly understanding and flexible as I was trying to arrange my Naperville wedding from out-of-town - I know it's not easy doing everything by phone! She was willing to meet with my mother for a viewing of her sample albums, and was communicative with me at each step. At the wedding itself, she was discreet and TIMELY with family photos. There was a small brief struggle for photography/video real estate in the church with another rather enthusiastic picture-taking guest and our videographers....yet this was the extent of any difficulty I had noticed, and know this is because of Laurie's professional approach to working with other vendors - a point I had not otherwise considered when choosing a photographer. Otherwise, honestly, I hardly knew she was there, and I really was just able to enjoy my day! Thank you Laurie!
