This has been our regular spot for a few drinks on a Friday night or dancing on a Saturday night…read more Sadly, the overall experience, quality and customer service has deteriorated over the course of the past year, that we finally agreed that we have to find another place. Last night was the last straw. A tiny bottle (caneca) of Buchanan's whiskey was $75? At any Colombian spot, the waitress not only brings the bottle to your table, but she prepares your first drink: puts ice in the glass, opens the bottle, and serves. The new staff is terrible and the girl dropped the bottle on the table and held her hand out to get paid. The DJ's are clearly amateurs. The volume is terribly loud (too loud to be comfortable and causes the speakers to sound distorted), they have zero ability to read the room not anticipate guest music selections based on the age group in the room and what dancers are responding to. For example, they played 4 of the most-unpopular salsas, but then went into a 12 song raggaeton/urbano set while only 6 people were dancing and 125 people were sitting down. The final straw was when the DJ's were running at full volume (speakers cutting off) then the power to the building turns off and emergency lights turn on. Well, this also turned off the AC and management was incapable of getting it turned back on again so within 10 minutes with a packed club with no AC, it was a sauna and difficult to breathe, so we left. Sadly, we must find another spot because Zona has deteriorated so much.

I assume it was the manager putting on songs and running around the club. The worst music selection was being played and you had to buy a bottle of liquor. Which would be fine if there was an actual DJ there. When I complained I was told there would be two DJs coming but at 1:00 am. Who has a DJ come at 1:00 am on NYE?! Location was pretty decent and the ambience was really good, with some great DJ Music. This was a Caribbean Themed Brunch, so we were all really looking forward to the Food and Drinks. Unfortunately, the Pros of this place ended there. Our party was squeezed into 2 small tables put together even though there were many comfortable Tables empty and unreserved. Guess they were holding out for those who might order Bottle Service. There wasn't much of a crowd (3 Tables seated) but our Drink orders took forever. Most of the Food items from the Caribbean Brunch we wanted to order was no longer available even though it was only 30 mins past the Brunch start time. After waiting for almost 2 hours with no food, we finally decided to leave. I am not sure whether the Themed Brunch was not planned properly or the Management is always this bad. Only positive is that they comped us $100 from our overall Drinks amount

Madison Ave…read more Dumont, NJ 07628 Buffalo Wings Breakfast Burger Chicken Parm Sliders Appearance: 9/10 Taste: 9/10 Located on the corner of West Madison Avenue and Cortland Avenue is a locally owned sports bar. Check out three of the most popular menu items I explored. Buffalo Wings: Sold by the pound, the wings came with a side of celery sticks and blue cheese dipping sauce. It's definitely a common bar appetizer prior to the main course. Breakfast Burger: Here is a breakfast spin on the classic burger and fries. The plump, juicy burger was loaded with crispy bacon and an over easy egg. Served medium well, each bite was like having breakfast and lunch simultaneously...hence the term "brunch." And no brunch is ever complete without a side of crispy tater tots. Chicken Parm Sliders: This is a unique bar twist on the classic chicken parmesan entrée. The three sliders are topped with homemade marinara sauce and mozzarella. The breaded cutlets were on the thicker side, but I didn't mind because it was similar to having a chicken sandwich. If you are a sports fan, this is the next best thing to a stadium or arena. The walls are adorned with athletic souvenirs and memorabilia. You won't have any trouble finding an athletic program to view on the multiple flat screen HDTVs. And speaking of televise sporting events, take advantage of this awesome meal deal. It's only available while the Mets or Yankees are playing. Play tunes of your choice on the modernized electronic jukebox. This sports bar has an upbeat atmosphere with a decent menu, so stop by and give QBs a try. #QBS #dumontnj #localbar #sportsbar #chickenparmsliders #BreakfastBurger #wings #buffalowings #foodstagram #njfoodie #foodreview

The lunch offer is valid Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beef: There was a variety of ten different draft beers to select. I don't order from the tap often, so I wasn't familiar with the beers. Before making my decision, Server Marcos was kind enough to let me sample it to be sure I I would like it. The IPA was fantastic. It was served chilled with a bit of foam up top. There was a hint of citrus and it had a smooth taste. Unfortunately, free refills are not included with the lunch special. Smash Cheeseburger & Fries: This is a perfect lunch serving portion as it will definitely keep you full until supper time. The double patty was served on a potato roll with special sauce and toppings; it didn't disappoint. The proportion of fries could have been a bit larger, but it they were still tasty. There are several flat screen HDTVs for patrons that enjoy watching sports as they wine and dine. If you enjoy the nightlife or clubbing atmosphere, a silver disco ball is adorned at the center of the restaurant. There is a decently sized outdoor seating area, which includes one semi-circular booth.
