"De Botanische Tuin Afrikaanderwijk" is a hidden paradise, located in a very busy part of Rotterdam South. On Wednesday and Saturday the Afrikaanderplein is crowded because of the very big market, but somewhere on a quiet place is this beautiful botanical garden. The garden contains more than 800 plants and are categorized in families. This garden is a must for botanical lovers, but also for people who just love to be in nature is this a place to be and just sit in the shade.
