This is a pleasant little coffee shop with friendly staff and a decent menu. It's a small, cosy place - kind of kitsch (or tacky, depending on your taste). They do filter coffee, which is good enough for me, as I can't stand places that serve up instant coffee (urgh, vomit). The meals are decently priced. I had a Greek salad with olives, tomatoes and feta cheese. Granted, it was a bit oily, but it was tasty, and there was plenty of it.
It's especially nice on a warm, sunny day, when you can sit outside and take in the historic surroundings. To one side is the Deane's House pub, and directly across the street is the 16th-century Prescot Parish Church. read more
