The principal, Mr. Almienderez (sp?) is very hands on with the kids and is always available for a parent if the need arises. The educational staff, librarians, and para-professionals all seem to truly enjoy being there and it can be felt when you walk through the door. The art and music programs are above and beyond the usual programs in surrounding districts. It's obvious by the happiness in the students faces, that they feel genuinely cared about and everyone takes pride in their school by planting gardens, to keeping the campus clean and cheerful. I haven't met the entire staff, so it's always possible that there are a few staff members who don't possess the same pride and eagerness to make Ogden elementary the best school it can be. This is the only Blue Ribbon school in the district and surrounding areas! If you are looking for a small school with a close knit feel and teachers who enjoy coming to work everyday, then this school couldn't fit the bill any better!

The teachers showed interest in the kids 1st day of school so for kids transition from out of state they make everyone feel at home. Of course it's on the installation and they are very meticulous about documentation. Overall, My daughter enjoys 4th grade and we have no issues with the school. I really enjoy the automatic system with skyward system to check your child grades, fund lung accounts, and more.
