The success…read moreI have received as a retire Marine Corps Officer, a retired high school principal and a retired college dean is directly related to the life values and principles I learned as a student at McClain HS. The education and guidance I received as a student at McClain greatly influenced my life to this day. These past many years I have maintained a close relationship with my classmates in Greenfield and have visited the high school regularly. The teachers and administration at the school have kept the school very special and most McClain High School graduates respect and love their school.

I go to school here and the school has bunches of artwork and statues all over the school. The marble floors are beautiful and the whole school in general is really nice. I like going to this school. It is directly in the middle of town.

I always earned straight As in school and needed a no academic challenge along with a no escape from high school drama. I got a high quality education with friendships that'll last a lifetime! I took 3 Zoology, a psycholog 101 and mneunonics survey course, along with two art histories, intro to drawing, clay building, and a painting course. Mrs. Pontious was awesome with hands on zoology experience! Psych went broad spectrum yet stayed interesting. Art history went through thousands of years of art and architecture, and the art classes really tested the limits of my talents! I did these while also taking AP English and AP Calculus at Circleville High School! All the teachers deserve an A+ in my eyes! Make sure you attend every class and take good notes! With smaller classes it's easy to ask questions and make friends! Lovely nature woodland area with gazebo behind building! Giant gym building next door celebrating the Hilltoppers! One of the best decisions of my life was to do Post-Secondary at Ohio University Chillicothe from CHS! Highly reccomend for those bored in high school, or those scared of getting lost in the big state schools! Very approachable atmosphere! All of my credits transferred to OSU, and it helped my resume/curriculum vitale enough to get the Maximum Scholarship at OSU! Strong nursing program, with a wide variety of art, psychology, and sign language classes! Beautiful library with very knowledgeable librarian who'll help you look up information for your papers. Placement computer test and essay to get in was very easy and designed to get to know you as a student. School email is easy to use, as is the computer room. It has a small cafeteria like area in basement with nothing but vending machines and microwave. Subway and Sumburger is a short drive away with friends! I only wish I too all four years of high school there! You get both high school and college credit! Strong in the arts and humanities! Definitely helped me gain confidence before entering OSU main campus! Two Hilltopper Thumbs Up!

They weren't many people on this Memorial Day holiday so we were able to sit and watch three gentlemen at work creating the most beautiful iridescent glass pumpkins and ask questions about them and their experience/ employment at the studio. We got to sit for at least 20-25 minutes then browsed the shop to see the different items for sale. I really liked some small glass ornaments on entering the building but decided I should look around more and go watch the demonstration first and intended on buying on my way out. A young lady behind the counter was assisting a customer very patiently, while they struggled to decide on purchases for gifts. This customer was at the counter when I walked in, and she was still there close to 30 minutes later! I ended up putting my ornaments back and left. There's an outdoor garden art area with lovely items for sale, discounted for the holiday; I could tell driving by. The studio is worth the visit for sure! Due to the nature of the items being unique, individually handcrafted pieces that cannot be duplicated they are more expensive. But there were some affordable items. Definitely stop in!
