What a great find! This food truck is everything I'd hope for...great food, big portions and reasonable prices. The Vienna and Hunter's version of Schnitzel were both generous and delicious. They came to our apartment complex for the evening and it was so great to have German cuisine! My husband and I both got the schnitzel with hunter sauce. For my side I did a half spaetzle and half German potato salad. We'd both never had spaetzle before but found it to be good! The potato salad was super good as well! The schnitzel was delicious and had a really nice breading. A previous review mentioned it being thin, but it is supposed to be thin. The first time we came here on the weekend, we found out they had another location in round rock (pre-covid). But we called to make sure they were at this location the second time we wanted to try it! The bummer about this location is that there's no parking, but the food is good! We ordered two different schnitzels, one with the regular sauce (which kind of looked like an onion sauce), and the other with just lemon. I preferred the latter as you can appreciate how well the schnitzels are breaded without the sauce. The schnitzels are freshly made upon ordering, so note that service will not be immediate. Ordered from their food truck this evening, we got the chicken schnitzel. It's described on the menu as a thin breaded chicken breast cutlet (one piece). It was super disappointing that when we opened the container, it was instead three chicken tenders. And not even the good kind... the filling was not real white meat chicken and chewy, very similar to the inedible filling in McDonalds chicken nuggets. AWESOME FOOD! I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time but hadn't because there were not that many reviews, anyway, I got impatient and went for it and I don't regret it! The service was very fast and friendly. I got the Schnitzel with Hunter Sauce and chose the Buttered Spaetzle as a side. But I ALSO really wanted to try the German Potato Salad so I also got it. The schnitzel was beautifully golden and the spaetzle had a beautiful buttery crust at the bottom. The potato salad was my favorite item, it had great acidity and I even found some pieces of bacon in there, it was great! I ordered Schnitzel Vienna style and Käsespätzle and it was fantastic! I'm not sure if the portion sizes are normally what I got, but for $10 each, it was SO MUCH food! We were looking forward to this truck being at Barking Armadillo Brewery so much so that we put it in our family planner. It did not disappoint! We had three schnitzel plates, two with hunter sauce and one Vienna style, and an order of Brats. Fries, spaetzel, kraut, and curry sauce were all delicious. Having spent the first part of my life living about an hour and a half from the owner hails from, I can assure the other commenter that schnitzel is meant to be thin. Personally I loved it. All food is regional, so I've struggled to find german food that tastes like what I loved as a child in the Hunsrück valley. I found it here. The Jaeger sauce was great, the spaetzle was even better.
