    3. Schnitzel "Hunter Sauce" Butter Spaetzle German Potato Salad
    Kayla B.

They came to our apartment complex for the evening and it was so great to have German cuisine! My husband and I both got the schnitzel with hunter sauce. For my side I did a half spaetzle and half German potato salad. We'd both never had spaetzle before but found it to be good! The potato salad was super good as well! The schnitzel was delicious and had a really nice breading. A previous review mentioned it being thin, but it is supposed to be thin. We usually go to Fredericksburg for schnitzel, but we are glad to find good schnitzel close by! Would definitely recommend!

The first time we came here on the weekend, we found out they had another location in round rock (pre-covid). But we called to make sure they were at this location the second time we wanted to try it! The bummer about this location is that there's no parking, but the food is good! We ordered two different schnitzels, one with the regular sauce (which kind of looked like an onion sauce), and the other with just lemon. I preferred the latter as you can appreciate how well the schnitzels are breaded without the sauce. The schnitzels are freshly made upon ordering, so note that service will not be immediate. My boyfriend who was born and raised in Germany loved this place, and loved being able to converse with the friendly owner in German!

    5. Chicken Schnitzel

Ordered from their food truck this evening, we got the chicken schnitzel. It's described on the menu as a thin breaded chicken breast cutlet (one piece). It was super disappointing that when we opened the container, it was instead three chicken tenders. And not even the good kind... the filling was not real white meat chicken and chewy, very similar to the inedible filling in McDonalds chicken nuggets. We were super excited to try this place, but what a let down.

We really enjoyed this food truck when it was at Bluebonnet Beer Company tonight. I got the schnitzel with hunter sauce and spaetzle and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the curry worst and it was AMAZING. We really enjoyed our meal and the customer service was great.

Authentic European food. Reminds me of home. Lovely people running the trailer as well. Looking forward to being a regular here.

We had three schnitzel plates, two with hunter sauce and one Vienna style, and an order of Brats.

It's really cool at those times, although the amount of people during game day can be overwhelming. I've been a number of times over the years. The food has always been okay, not great. This last time, I ordered the pastrami sandwich, no aioli. The sandwich came dry. Thankfully I had asked for some mustard for my waffle fries. It was supposed to be on a brioche bun, or maybe I mistook the two pieces of white bread I got as something less than they were. It's supposed to have brie on it, and maybe the heat evaporated it all into the pastrami? The house made pastrami itself was very good. My daughter had the green chile and cheddar sausage and commented that the bun was pretty much a piece of Texas toast. We did have an excellent pretzel and the green goddess salad was capable of being split among three of us. These things make me think I just picked the wrong thing. For all the times I've been to Scholz's, I haven't picked the right thing that makes me excited to go back to eat.
