It really did look a lot like spaghetti, especially with the white chocolate shavings made to look like parmesan! Service was pretty quick; we got our ice creams just a few minutes after ordering. We were able to easily split the bill (we paid with cash so I'm not sure what the card situation is). There were bathrooms as well and they were reasonably clean. A great place to stop by for a huge ice cream on a warm day! The spaghetti eis was delicious, and definitely worth a try if you've never had it before. All the desserts also make for great photos.

But also can't really go wrong with chocolate, and I am a believer in looking at which ice cream is the most empty because that one is most of the time the favorite. So I choose Mocha and Pistachio and then he gave me chocolate for free. The mocha wasn't a strong coffee flavor but a good one, 4 stars. The Pistachio had a really good flavor and one of the best pistachio ice creams I have ever had so 5 stars. And the chocolate was very rich like a death by chocolate cake and I give it 4 stars. Will definitely go here again but maybe not until the summer when the sun is supposed to come out in Germany :). Now my second trip here wasn't as nice as my first because of the service but still had a 4 star experience. I had the Bacio and the Stracciatella. Both were very tasty and would recommend them both. I like my gelato in a cone, so I don't understand the weird policy. I always get annoyed by a lack of logic or reason. Ambiance (3/5): If there's a seat available on the patio or you're getting it to go, all is good. If you're sitting inside, I don't recommend it. No A/C and tight quarters. The shop is owned by this famous football (I think) player, whose hometown is Cologne and apparently he stops by his ice cream shop from time to time which I thought was pretty neat.
