Workers' Compensation (WC) will assign you an agent that rarely answers her phone. The voicemail reverts to your agent being out of the office on the previous holiday. You are assured that you will be receiving WC checks, but they arrive 3 weeks later; sporadically and wondering how you're going to pay the bills. The injury had gone from bad to worse no matter how much PT was given. Surgery did not repair the injury. More surgery required. Where I was accused of writing emails that were "too long" even though they were only a few sentences or paragraphs, and where they were sent at "random times of day." I get emails at random times of day but for others it's OK? I need 5 lawyers for this? He didn't even tell me that I had 10 days to withdraw the plea, which seems like legal malpractice. Anyway so now I can't get an apartment and face freezing to death on the street. That's the real penalty, which is a death sentence. Not quite the "no penalty" given by the judge so what does that tell you about how the Justice system really works? It's not about Fairness, rather, it's about CONVICT CONVICT CONVICT of sanctimonious DA's. Where the "collateral damage" is literally worse than the actual penalty. The long version of this story is being made into a major motion picture, where I am the Victim, and the jury will laugh hysterically at the ridiculous charges. I haven't ruled out suing this firm.

Please I urge you to think twice about going with a law firm that is almost constantly advertising their business, and to be fair there are always an exception to my rules. I did that and after a 2 or 3 month waiting time because of my need to save up for their quoted price, the price went up $800.00. I did question her about price increase but got no where. I simply replied " OK let me see what I can do to scrape up more money." She replied "Ok we are here for when you need us". What kind of lawyers office would want to stick it to a potential new client? I thought their goal was to help? I then searched on line for another lawyer and came across the firm of Cunningham, Chernicoff & Warshawsky, P.C. who I have heard of only because they have been in this area for 38+ years. That amount of yrs in business speaks for itself. I called them and was greeted by a calming voice, Deloris. This firm gets a point for her because at this time I was wound up from the $800 hike-n-price lawyers office, which the differance "might" go toward paying for commercials. Deloris collected the information needed and transferred me to a paralegal, Jacob Laughman. He asked me for a bit more information and set up an appointment with Johanna H Rehkamp within one week! I felt a little more at ease. Fast forward to appointment and from the time I walked in to CC+W's door until the meeting with Johanna Rehkamp and Jacob was over I was very happy I did not go with first law firm. I actually felt more confident about my future. The people that I dealt with from CC+W were ALL very down to earth and did not make me feel on edge, whatsoever. I didn't second guess myself of going with their team once! Within roughly a month and a half time frame, everything I needed help with was taken care of and went as CC+W's team told me it would.
