Unfortunately, my visit ended before it even started: card payments are not accepted - no debit cards, no credit cards, not even contactless via phone or smartwatch. In 2025, this is not only outdated, but also highly inconvenient. Like many people nowadays, I don't carry cash - and because of that, I had to leave without being able to order anything. It's a real shame, as I would have happily stayed and supported the business. A modern hospitality venue should meet the basic expectations of its guests - and that includes offering card payments. Until this is addressed, the place remains inaccessible to many potential customers.

Starter: Frittierte oliven-schafskäse kugeln (deep fried balls filled with sheep's cheese and olives on top a spicy tomato chutney). The fritters were perfectly smooth and crumbly on the inside and extremely flavorful and well paired with the tomato sauce which was full of flavor rather than spicy. 3 fritters were served alongside two pieces of bread which was also very good. The bread had a nice crust, but was dense and soft. The bread was hearty and seemed to be made with good quality ingredients (not just white flour). Pizza: Formaggio e pesca (goat cream cheese, glazed peaches, roasted nuts, and honey). The pizza was everything I expected! It was an intriguing combination on the menu and the combination did not disappoint! I might even try to recreate it at home.
