The Schlossgarten is situated behind the beautiful palace in the middle of the green city of Karlsruhe, just a short distance from the main shopping street. It simply is THE best place in spring and summer to have a break, meet up with friends, have a picnic, sunbathe, read a good book, enjoy the scenery, or share a bottle of wine until the early hours of the morning (the latter is very highly recommended!). But the Schlossgarten is also a sight to behold in autumn and winter, when it is perfect for a leisurely stroll around the expansive woods and meadows, on which you may perhaps be able to make friends with one of the many resident red squirrels. read more
