It is considered a four star hotel/spa in Austria, but I give it 5! It is primely located in the historic town of Bad Radtkersburg on the border of Austria and Slovenia. Most people I would think drive to get there, like we do, but you can get there by train and the hotel will pick you up at the train station in Bad Radtkersburg. My husband and I have been there several times and at different seasons and have no complaints. From the peacefulness and cleanliness of the saunas and pools to the gigantic breakfast buffet and diverse dinner menu, Herr Jausovec and his staff cannot go wrong. Your overnight stay includes breakfast, a smaller afternoon "jause" consisting of soup and salad, and a four course dinner. Every meal also offers options for gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian preferences. Local wines and food specialties abound and the menus are always in season.
