I reached out to Light & Gonzalez after reading their great reviews, and my initial impression was…read morevery positive. Attorney Light was professional, and Dustin provided excellent customer service. They both came across as ambitious, knowledgeable, and eager to help... which gave me confidence in working with them. Unfortunately, that confidence faded over time. Attorney Light initially agreed to take my case once he finished another matter, but months have passed with no follow-up. I've called and emailed several times. Each time Dustin politely asked me to send an email, but I never received a response. I completely understand that people get busy and personal matters can arise...and I even sent my sympathies regarding a matter. Still, going silent for months without so much as a courtesy update feels unprofessional. If you're looking for a firm that offers an encouraging consultation and good conversation, they're great. But if you need consistent communication and follow-through, my experience suggests you may want to look elsewhere.

Yes! Matt Adams is the truth!…read more I had an issue with Transunion and Experian that I could not resolve on my own and needed professional help with to fix. To explain the issue, Transunion was listing a bankruptcy on my credit profile that was denied. I went through dispute after dispute with Transunion. I paid some credit repair places and to no avail. Matt dealt with Transunion directly and got the denied bankruptcy removed, along with the 4 credit items listed under such denied bankruptcy. On my Experian account, I have 3 or 4 Barclay accounts, but one was listed as closed by bankruptcy. This was or not the case. Again, dispute after dispute and nothing got resolved. Matt became my professional connection to correcting these inaccuracies! This was not a fast process, as it took a little over 6 months, but the results of removing this denied bankruptcy was the result needed and wanted. This was achieved and Matt kept me abreast of changes and process along the way. No complaints with that and I am grateful for his professionalism, updates and effective communication with getting this done for me. Now my credit is back to about 800 and I am all good to go. If there are any further needs for my credit profiles that I cannot get completed on my own, Matt will be my first call. He can be trusted to get the job done. Thanks Matt!

My experience with this office has been absolutely amazing. I normally don't write reviews but…read morewanted to share my story. I came to Robert's office because, even though I am current with my first mortgage, I had an issue with my second mortgage. Several years ago I stopped making payments to the second mortgage but the mortgage company never contacted me or threatened me with foreclosure. I figured it was because my house was underwater and had no equity. But now after almost 7 years, the mortgage company filed for foreclosure and i was forced to deal with this issue. I had no idea what to do or who to turn to until a friend of mine gave me Robert's number and I called to see what options I had. Truth be told, I had no other option but to stop paying this mortgage after my income was cut in half in 2013. Since then, I managed to stay current with my first mortgage and never though a second mortgage could actually foreclosure and take my house. Until, to my surprise ,I was given the lawsuit and was scared that after finally getting on my feet, I could loose my house. I called to make an appointment to speak to Robert and his office worked around my busy schedule to make it work. I met the attorney the following day and all I can say is that I left with a huge weight off my back. My uncertainty, fears and anxiety were met with compassion. I sat with Robert, he introduced himself and said let me see what we can do. He went through a series of questions and he explained why he was asking them. After he discussed my options, I did not hesitate to get him to represent me in my foreclosure case. From the first day I felt very confident that he and his office knew exactly what needed to be done and I trusted his advice. Not only did they represent me in the legal case but also began speaking to my mortgage company for ways to workout an agreement to help me save my house. He stressed the importance of communicating with my mortgage company for options to stay in the property. Shortly after I left the office, I began working with the office team to get all the documents and information. Not once did I call the office and reach a voicemail. Someone always answers the phone. Everyone in the office is a true professional and they know what they are doing. It's nice to feel that you are speaking with a human being who understands the kind of stress and anxiety this whole process brings but who still knows how to give me a sense of security and peace knowing that they are working for my best interest. After a couple of weeks of going back and forth with my mortgage company, Robert told me that I have been approved for a loan modification and the payment is something I can actually afford. I am so thankful for this result and im sure it made all the difference that Robert's office was representing me through this. They know what they're doing and the professionalism and attention they have brought to my cause and I'm sure everyone else they represent is second to none. Im so happy and will definitely be coming back or recommend to anyone that needs help with their home.

This firm is a "clown show" and a HUGE disappointment! You will NEVER speak to the same person twice, when you do speak to someone they can't give you a direct answer to any of your questions, and they NEVER return calls unless it's regarding a payment.
