It seemed to me that locals were happy to choose this place rather than other nearby options. The atmosphere was "sehr gemütlich" -- very cozy. The menu prices were so reasonable that we badly misjudged how much food we'd receive. Fortunately, it was pouring rain and the lunch crowd diminished, so no one minded us sitting there 90 minutes. Unfortunately, we took away half of it, and never did manage to donate or finish it. My advice: Order less than you imagine you'll eat. I believe you'll enjoy the food, and probably will have more than you need.

While visiting the area we checked out the local restaurant for some delicious German food. The…read moreplace has a great decoration. The food is very good and portions are huge. Service was good but a bit slow alas there were many guests that night. Will be back in December!
