They have deal with a gym around the corner which is a real gym. This is not the tiny crammed in gyms you find in some European hotels. This one is the real deal if you are a gym rat; machines, weights, medicine balls and matts. 4. Breakfast....hey Marriott, Hyatt; why don't you give us a health breakfast instead of the fattening artery clogging crap we get in the US?. These folks give you health and delicious breakfast. 5. Dinner in both restaurants is terrific but the tapas restaurant is especially awesome. Located about 150 yards from the Metro you can be in the center in 10, the exhibition hall in 20 and the airport in 40 minutes. Prices are more than fair.

We booked using Priceline and paid for the room online ahead of time using my Priceline credit card. She sent a message the night of our one night stay that she had no record of our payment for that night. I had shared a receipt from Priceline and screenshot of my credit card statement showing the payment. She insisted that we had not paid. She said that we must pay by 8 am the next morning. We were planning on leaving before 8, but we waited until 8:15 for someone to show up, so we could settle the issue, but no one did. So we left our key and left to continue our trip. I called a few days later. The person threatened us with a police report if we did not pay. Her tone was rude and she kept interrupting and insisting that we were lying. I re-sent the receipt and credit card statement as proof of payment, and informed her that the issue was between her and Priceline. There was no reason for her to treat us so rudely and to ignore the information we were sharing with her. In addition, the room was not very clean or comfortable, the shower was too small and did not drain properly. Even worse was how noisy the room was facing a busy street with truck traffic most of the night, and the bed was not very comfortable. I suggest people avoid this hotel.

Anyway yes this hotel is NOT in Old Town and it has no ambiance but you are getting... - 2 blocks away from the subway -a great breakfast buffet (probably the best included one that I have ever had in Europe!) -a large, comfortable room - a chocolate on your pillow, 2 bottles of water, and 1 bottle of apple juice in your room all complimentary - a fridge -next to a supermarket Oh yeah there is an ICE MACHINE you can use which is unheard of in Europe!! You also can choose between crushed or cubed ice! Would easily return if I find my way back in Nuremberg!
