Each baby has returned home from their appointment, very relaxed and mentally unscathed. It was truly a pleasant experience, with Dr. Matt the staff and the office atmosphere. I used to be embarrassed to take my chihuahua Freddy to a vet because he growled and screamed at the slightest touch by a vet. Freddy absolutely fell in love with Dr. Matt. It felt insulting considering I am very particular about my (11yr old lab/Aussie) baby girl's diet. I was happy that they took my concern seriously and the vet was able to take a biopsy of the 2 concerning tumors. However, getting the shots and biopsies and medicine was unnecessarily traumatic for my little girl. I told them several times that she is well trained and will do what I ask, but they refused to let me help as they wrestled and forced my dog to be held by them refusing to let me hold her. My dog does NOT like to be pinned down and was squirming and panicking when a simple command and being held by her mom would have been far more effective. The vet just kept saying, "now you're being ridiculous" when I could see my dog was freaking out by the strange people jerking her leash and treating her like some wild beast. She is a well trained, obedient senior dog. There is no need to be so aggressive with her. And to not even allow me to hold her... I just had to sit and watch my dog be wrestled by strange people. I am grateful that they tested her and gave her the shots. But in 11 years, she has never been handled with such aggressiveness.

Their waiting room is no more than 50sq ft & for whatever reason have 10+ ppl scheduled at the same times? With no space at all in the waiting room, a very hyper pup along with other animals everywhere, I've sat outside multiple times for 30-45mins PAST my appointment time & today was the last time. I watched multiple people that walked in 15-20 mins after me, get called before me. When I questioned this, the reception girl very rudely tells me it's going to be an additional 15 min wait, with no apology or explanation. A full 50 mins after my appointment time & I decide to leave without service. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Vet #10 & counting 2. Too many unqualified vets trained abroad (islands & East) 3. Poor craft of knowledge 4. Poor cust svc 5. Unsavory & less than mentally sound techs 6. Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

She would not come to my Sisters home to perform an exam and possibly having to put my elderly Moms Golden Retriever down, because she lived off the beaten path. My Sister lives on a non County maintained road and this Vet told her that she would not take her vehicle down her road. "I take Care of my Vehicles" Wow, way to show Empathy! This Vet did not help and not very compassionate in time of need. I would not give this Mobile Vet the time of day in the future, or refer or recommend to anyone. Hopefully from this feedback, I have helped others to make an informed and helpful decision.
