If I could give 10 stars for Viktor with Siberian Tiger Tile I would. We were very lucky to have found him for two bathroom remodels needed in a time crunch. Viktor is a jack of all trades, able to do much more than just tile, he is skilled in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, finished installations etc. Each time an issue arose in the projects he was able to offer solid advice and help us troubleshoot in a pinch. He has a true genuine work ethic that is hard to come but these days and even worked through the evenings when necessary. We hired Viktor Starovoytov "siberian tiger tile & stone". He would show up at odd hours, not on a regular basis. We paid a lot of money for him to install tile in 2 bathrooms, a laundry room and laminate wood flooring throughout our home on a brand new build. The laminate flooring has major separation and is coming apart in many areas. The master shower is our biggest concern. Tiles started breaking and coming off our floor from water damage and improper slope for water drainage. Viktor will not return our calls and messages, he went as far as to lie and say that his phone number is no longer his in a text (lie), we were forced to hire another company to repair our floor. They have begun the removal and have told us that it was all done wrong. There was no water barrier put under the bathroom tile. We have a sub floor covered in mold and rot from all the water damage. We have to tear apart the walls as well because you can put your fingers up behind the tiles as they were not properly installed. There is visible mold going up the walls and they are soaked. The mortar under the tiles feels like play dough, it's very soggy and soft from all the water. It was like a pool under the shower tiles from the water that got under it. The drain was set higher than the tiles themselves, stopping the water from naturally flowing out unless it was deep enough to over over the tile. The shower tile was not properly sloped. I would avoid Viktor at all costs. The last time we spoke he became very agitated and very aggressive towards me, since then he does not respond to calls, texts or emails but instead text back that he doesn't know Viktor. He kept the area clean while tearing out the old base cabinets and countertops, I built base kitchen cabinets that he leveled and installed, replaced our water-damaged subfloor, plumbed the sink and disposal, installed the electrical pop-up outlets that he recommended, and of course, installed the kitchen granite countertops, undermount sink and backsplashes. Viktor installed our backsplash on 12/8/18 and did a great job. We found him on Thumbtack. We had an idea of what we wanted but Viktor was really helpful and made good suggestions about how to handle our project. It took him approximately 7-8 hours to complete.
