I came to this fine department store back in springtime, while on a trip in Guadalajara with the…read moregirlfriend. She wanted to go shopping, and this became one of our several stops in Plaza Andares.
El Palacio de Hierro is on par with Nordstroms back home. The store is nice, very well presented, and has an extensive selection of clothing and other items. The staff here is pleasant, and very attentive. They were able to guide us to exactly what we were looking for.
While the girlfriend found the items she needed, I browsed the men's section. Their clothing selection is great, especially if you like darker hues like I do. Some brands you'll recognize from stores back in the US, and some you won't. For the latter, I've found quality in them, to include some brown dress shoes that I get complements on to this day.
