The first time I came to Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain was in 2016, and it is still my favourite spot now, in 2025. I like how many rest spots it has to complete the full circles of thermal treatments, which is non-existent in Thermea in Whitby. I also appreciate how friendly everyone was and how diligent the staff were in ensuring the space was quiet for everyone to enjoy their retreats. I also liked that they don't have any fancy "diners" but healthy & hearty deli food and soups that allow folks to recharge themselves throughout the day. I always feel that spa businesses try to have "fine dining" restaurants are trying too hard to sell overpriced food while neglecting the services they should focus on - the spa experience.

Visit solo or with others, the experience is wonderful. Hot baths, eucalyptus steam room is phenomenal, 18 degree cold plunge pools and saunas heavenly. Take in the great outdoors in a hamac or muskoka chair by one of the two fire pits. Indoor solarium style rooms are also available for rest and relaxation. Bring your own bath robe or rent one. Towels will be refreshed at your wish and a fresh snack can be purchased in the main chalet. The only downfall, RMT massages are booked far in advance making it difficult/impossible to have the impromptu service. NOTE:If you are going with friends, expect to be shushed at least once...that is if you are enjoying a little chat. ;)

Went to spa on Wednesday. It is $10 off when going on Wednesday. There are just good amount of people going on Wednesday. They have like 4 hot pool with 39 degrees and 4 cold pool 15 degrees . There is a dry sauna, infrared sauna and Eucalyptus steam room. Several rest room. When u go inside, first read the map. It shows where the sauna rooms are and which pool are hot and cold. It also suggest to do hot then cold then rest cycle. To save money, bring your own robe. It will cost $13 to rent one. You need to bring swim wear and sandals. Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrate. The entrance fee is $75 on Wednesday and other day is $85. It include 2 towels and locker with locker wrist band. It is very relaxing and quiet. It asks the guests to keep silence. The restaurant has reasonable price for food.

I was very excited about the massage I had booked. I read their policies (quiet etc) so I understood that aspect. When I arrived, we were provided instructions & robes. I wish the robes had pockets but since is a phone free zone, I guess you dont need pockets. Onto the pools, Much smaller than I had expected. The different pools hot and cold were relaxing but the surfaces were a bit rough on the skin. There were multiple relaxation rooms through out the spa (just large rooms with chairs and magazines). The hammocks were a nice touch The massage from the RMT itself wasnt too bad, the music in the room was considerably loud. There was nothing that really stood out or made this experience anything special. No water/tea while waiting or post service. I have visited multiple spas and I have to say this was probably my least favorite experience.

Loved my massage and bath appointment so much that I came back the day after to enjoy another bath . It was a nice - no phone detox. After all the things that have happened in the past year or two, this was a much needed way to relax. My massage therapist gave me a Swedish massage focusing on my back and neck as I have poor posture from working from home. He also worked on my legs as I told him I run a lot and calves are a bit sore. I felt so relaxed! As for the hydrotherapy pools, I really enjoyed the hot and cold temperatures. The waterfalls were truly relaxing and I am not the type to enjoy saunas, however I spent a few minutes in the infrared sauna and sweated out a lot. The steam room was a bit too much for me, eucalyptus was a bit heavy for me. Other than that, I went through the hydrotherapy pools around 3 times, spent time relaxing in their hammocks and chairs by the fire pit. It was a nice cool afternoon in the middle of August and I couldn't be happier. When I left, I purchased a candle called "The Bath". I can't wait to light it and feel relaxed and be reminded of the spa I would 10/10 check out their Whistler and Montreal location. Looking forward to being back!

A first time here for me, my wife and another couple. This is a great place to relax, relieve some stress and explore some spirituality. First, prepare by bringing flip flops and your own water bottle, which you can refill on site. Robes and towels will be provided for you. So, the initial service was a Swedish massage by a professional registered massage therapist. It was one full hour of bliss and relaxation. After this, you have several options of which I tried a few. - go to the heated outdoor pool, awesome. - take a dip in the cold water pool for 30 seconds. That will wake up all your senses! - try the hot sauna, infrared sauna and the eucalyptus sauna. The ultimate relaxation. There are other options but I could not possibly do all of them. Which means I need to go back in the not too distant future. Pictures are not allowed on premises and no cellular phones, which is a good thing.

Had a great time at this spa! Always clean. Massage rmt the past few times I've been are okay...you're better off just going to the water therapy but it's always a memorable trip! Also they have hair dryers and mirrors and change rooms, but no plastic bags for your wet clothes. If you have trouble at your locker, push your locker in and then scan using your wristband. Robes are only available for ppl who book massage or will cost extra otherwise. Bring water bottles for refill at water stations and 100% recommend bringing flip flops.

this place is pretty special to experience especially during the colder months. Loved the eucalyptus steam room and the firepits outside to enjoy during the fall and winter seasons. to me this is a pretty amazing full service spa with that extra touch. you dont have to make a spa service to enjoy the baths outside and you can enjoy it from the time they open until they close. I have been here a few times and def would enjoy going back, its worth staying the night so your not on a time limit, blue mountain offers many places for over night stays etc just wished the spa did but really not a big issue considering how close you are to avail rooms, Airbnb etc Great place to visit and enjoy to make that special occasion memorable I agree with some of the comments about bringing your own robe and keep an eye on your towels

A must-visit in Blue Mountain What to bring: swimsuits, flip-flops, bathrobe if you have one Tip: arrive 8:30 in the morning right before the spa opens We were informed by locals to be here early. We got there by 8:45 and there is already a lineup. We did not wait very long after it opens. The place is expensive, but it is totally worth it. My friend and I spent 4 hours in here. We only left because we were hungry.

I have been to Scandinave Blue Spa 3 times so this review is consistent. This is not a SPA. Come hydrated and not hungry! The marketing concept is very deceptive. Scandinave is a wellness center with saunas, a steam room, and beautiful grounds. You cannot talk to each other unless you whisper. Signs everywhere tell you that it is a silent haven to relax. I understand that now, after my first experience so don't go expecting a great day with friends. There is no pool to swim, only hot, cold, and warm pools to soak or wade in. Let me describe the incompetent staff. The first time l thought perhaps it was a bad day. The second time, l complained. This last time wasn't any better. I asked to buy some tea and was told l couldn't leave the "check in" level with it, and was asked "didn't you bring your own water bottle?" I was told there were no cups for water but a few filling stations for water bottles. :/ From checking in to leaving, the staff left much to be desired. If p owned this business, they'd be fired immediately. After our massages, we were rushed out because they were closing. Massages were finished at 8:45, they close at 9pm. If we didn't have time to shower and dress, then they should not have booked us. Two different attendants actually turned out the lights on us in the dressing rooms. And said after... "we're closed, you'll need to hurry up." I will end this in a very possible note and my reason for 2 stars. My massage was phenomenal! The RMT's name was Jason and very attentive to my areas of discomfort. I wish l could say the same for my friends. No one ever wants to go back. The spa attendant was very nice, she gave us all the info we needed and a "dixie cup" size cup for the spa drinking water because this was the only cups to be found. I repeat... This is NOT a SPA! There are no facials, manicures, pedicures, hot towels or luxurious seating areas to relax indoors and spend time with friends. It is a self serve glorified locker room to shower and change while enjoying some private outdoor time. I couldn't get any more photos because following rules, phones/cameras were not allowed past the front desk.

Beautiful Spa, But Missing a Few Key Elements Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is a stunning and peaceful escape. The grounds are beautiful, everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff were warm and professional. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into creating a space for deep relaxation and mindfulness. That said, I'm giving it 4 stars--not because it's not great (it really is)--but because it didn't fully align with what I was hoping for. I came to reconnect with my wife, relax, and enjoy some rare quality time together (we have three kids and I work over 100 hours a week). Unfortunately, the strict no-talking policy made that difficult. I completely understand and respect the intention behind the silence--it's part of their philosophy--but I found myself wishing there was at least a designated area where quiet conversation was allowed. We also hoped to enjoy a massage as part of the experience, but there were no appointments available until later in the afternoon--even though the spa was fairly empty most of the morning. That was a bit disappointing, especially since we had planned to make the most of the day. Also, compared to other spas I've visited, I missed having access to drinks or a fresh food restaurant on site. It would've elevated the experience to be able to enjoy a healthy bite or a glass of wine by the pools. All that said, I still left feeling relaxed and recharged. If you're looking for a serene, meditative solo escape, this is a perfect place. But if you're hoping for a more social or well-rounded spa day with your partner, just know it might feel a bit limiting. #ScandinaveSpa #BlueMountainSpa #RelaxAndRecharge #OntarioSpas #SpaDay #CouplesRetreat #SpaReview #WellnessTravel #Hydrotherapy #SilentSpa #MindfulMoments read more
Came here with friends for a girls trip. Their space is lovely, with great service. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the steam room, especially the one with the eucalyptus. Their cold plunges and hot tubs were excellent too. I do wish they had a space or room where a little quiet chatting was allowed, the rule about silence was a little stifling - though I can appreciate it. My other issue was with the food and snacks at the cafe, just not good. I wish you could purchase quality tea or snacks for a little break, it will really add to the experience. Overall I enjoyed the spa, but I don't know if I'd come back. read more

Took my family here for Mother's Day! First impressions the place looks very nice. There were lots of pros and a few cons. The forest bathing was neat. Something you can obviously do on your own time in your own yard even, but it was a fun experience. They have a no phone/food/drink policy (other than water) which I understand. They were very accommodating to my mother who is diabetic and needs to carry around her phone and snacks in a small back for medical reasons. The staff was friendly and in-forced the "silence" rule which was nice to be able to relax. There were tons of seating options like muskoka chairs, rockers, hammocks etc. they have an elevator which we used for accommodations. The food there was good and reasonably priced. We used everything including the cold plunges. And had a good time. The relaxation rooms and fire pits were nice. I didn't like that you have to pay for a robe rental. It's already $100 to go and then you gotta pay $15 for a robe rental if you want one. You get two towels, that def get wet right away and there really isn't a towel service. It drove us crazy that to get towels and drop robes you had to go up the stairs to do so? There should be a drop off in the locker room. There are massages available but other than that I wouldn't consider it to be a "spa" it also got really crowded really quickly in the locker room because of the layout. All in all we did have a good time, for the price I don't think kits worth it to go again. We did see an advert for $300 for a "Dec to April Mon-Thursday" pass for the thermal journey and that's a great deal! They have guided thermal journeys as well but we did a self one! No photo because no phones allowed :) read more

The quality of this place has plummeted--I would have given them a 5 star review when I came a decade ago. Now, the front desk staff do not even let you know of what the facilities have available open currently. No info about how to navigate, even if you ask, so you have to talk to staff and guests to figure things out. I understand about the saunas/steam rooms since they are small but the pools area does require some coordination. To respond to another reviewer, the no talking rule * is * stifling because you do need to coordinate. The staff unfortunately will harass you if you even once break this "rule". This place is not worth the drive from Toronto, not worth the 100+ dollars (anymore) and is likely not going to be a place to decompress after your excursion at blue mountain. I really hope this review helps them improve their business. read more

This was a wonderful experience! My friends and I booked a 3:45pm slot, but didn't arrive until 4pm. I was a little worried there might be an issue because apparently friends of mine were not allowed in for being late. However, there wasn't any issue at all! The front desk also serves as a cafe with seating that overlooks the exterior of the spa. We grabbed some coffee and pastries before heading down the stairs into the change rooms. The banana bread tasted delicious and homemade, and was reasonably priced. You are given a wristband that has a lock for the lockers built in. They ask that you shower before heading into the spa area. There are a couple different hot and cold pools with different temperatures (2 hot, 2 cold), a steam room, a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, and several different relaxation rooms. The pools are all outside. Since we went in the middle of winter, the outside temperature was probably 0 degrees and sunny. This was a perfect contrast to the hot pools. It was nice to sit in the hot water but have cold air. I'll have to try again in summer, but I think I'll prefer winter. The steam room was definitely the highlight. It was hot and steamy! I went in several times, combined with some cold plunges. The Finnish sauna just wasn't hot enough for me. Another nice thing is they have some enclosed fires you can sit around. The entire facility is very clean and well maintained. The only suggestion I have is to have distinct quiet and social times. It felt like half of the guests wanted silence, but the other half clearly wanted to chat and socialize. They have some staff standing around the pools to remind guests to only talk in a whisper. Many guests would just chat freely, and then when one of these silence police came by, they'd pretend to be quiet. I've seen other spas do well with morning as a quiet time, and the evening as a social time. read more

We really enjoyed our trip to the spa. Compared to the one we went to in Montreal, it was comparable, but, not as good due to the lack of the lack of enforcement of the "quiet" rule. Dry towels being available downstairs would have been a nice option. Otherwise, it was very pleasant. read more

This review is for the baths. I had made my reservation in advance and got there on time. Check in was pretty quick and smooth. Despite it being a quiet area, some of the check in attendants were chatting to each other quite loudly. Lockers: At first I couldn't figure out how to open the lockers. You have to touch it with one hand, while using the wristband key to open it with the other hand. Robes: Robes are not included if you are there for the baths, and cost $13 to rent. It adds to the overall experience, however I would recommend it more for the colder months and not for summer, as it was quite tedious to carry around and wear and remove while walking through the baths. Towels: They give you two towels when you check in. You are able to get more towels if needed. Change rooms: Showers are available with shampoo, conditioner and soap. They also have lotion and hair dryers available in the open areas. There weren't many private areas to change, but more open spaces in the change room. Pools: The pools themselves were nice and relaxing. The waterfalls add to the ambiance. I understand that this is in the forest, but there were several bugs in the water and cobwebs on some chairs. Areas that I think could be improved: Signage in the pool area and for the saunas is so tiny. I don't need glasses, but still had to get really close to read them. I also don't think there's enough signage in the pool area. The recommended course is hot, cold, then relax. They should tell you this when you check-in, or there should be signs so people have some instruction to follow if they choose to. Robes should be included in the price of $85. This place is not very accessible - there are a lot of stairs both in the check-in area and in the pool area. The no phone policy was nice, however it would have been nice to take some photos. It's hard to find any marketing or visual reviews about this place because of this policy. Nice touch: Between one of the saunas and relaxation areas, there is complimentary tea, however this is not advertised. read more

One highlight to visiting Blue Mountain is the spa! If you don't feel like splurging for a massage or special treatment, you can definitely spend a few hours in the therapeutic waters. I will say that this is now probably considered "older" versus other offerings opening in the GTA. The facilities are a little more worn down than I remember but it has been around forever. Everything extra is kind of a frill now - if you want a robe or flip flops, it's an upcharge. The plus is that you're welcome to bring your own robe! I saw a lot of bachelorette parties with matching robes together. I wish that they had more variety in the pools. I've been to other spas where they have hot/warm and cold/cool pools. They have a eucalyptus steam room and a sauna as well. They also had a room that was called a Finnish spa but it seemed more like it was a lounge. There were benches here and magazines to peruse through but with no extreme temperature changes. One great thing about visits here are that the weather doesn't matter too much (barring a thunderstorm). It rained a bit when we were there which was actually really nice in the hot pool. The snow is also a delight to see, if you're lucky enough. After your visit to the waters or spa, you can grab a bite at the cafe where they have soups and sandwiches. read more

My husband treated me to a day at the baths for my recent birthday! First and foremost, once we got the hang of it, it was hands down the most relaxing experience either of us has had. My skin was glowing the next day. I had no issue with the silence...it's literally a relaxation spa, not a resort. People come here to relax, and keeping quiet is a courtesy so that all the guests are able to relax. That being said, there were a few things that could have made it a little more worth it for me: -Towel service was so inconvenient. You can only get/drop off towels at the front desk, which means you have to walk through the locker rooms, and up the stairs. It would be nice if they had fresh towels and dirty towel drop off bins around the baths themselves. -I didn't feel like it was spectacularly clean. There were strange odors near the towel/robe hanging areas, and I didn't really see anyone disinfecting the lounging chairs the entire 4 hours I was there. I would be worried about contracting an infection since everything is so communal. -Cafe offerings were similar to an airport cafe. I think a more well-thought out menu with made-to-order (non-packaged) entrees would be more appealing. Overall, I might return again, but would be interested in trying some of the other thermal baths in the area first! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. It was my birthday and they turned it into the worst day ever. The customer service was TERRIBLE. everyone was very rude and seemed unhappy to be there. If you asked for a towel or hair tie for example they said "you can go upstairs and get it". Even for bags for wet clothes. I asked if I was supposed to carry my wet clothes up the stairs and they said yes. What a joke of a place. They were constantly rushing everyone there and were not accommodating. The massage I got was beyond terrible. She was an older woman who claimed the bed was heated and then only turned it on after I repedtly said I felt cold. She also claimed they didn't have any hair ties and I had to tell had multiple times they had them upstairs. She then went upstairs and "found" one. She also came in ten minutes late and left ten minutes early. She also tried to stall time during the massage washing her hands every five minutes and drying them and walking around the room unnecessarily. Needless to say this was the worst spa I've been to and very expensive for no reason. It was clear everyone was racist there. Looked at colored people in disgust. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Wouldn't ever return again. Wish I could get a refund. Even that they wouldn't budge on. read more

I am a frequent spa goer, and I was excited for this one but was disappointed. The property is small for the price, so your pool time is quite short For the prices they charge. There aren't any interactive meditations or aromatherapy relaxation times like Thermëa in Whitby. No salt scrubs either like the Nordic Spas, and no restaurant to have a glass of wine and a tapa. It's quick, and it's not worth the money they charge. My massage was terrible. Enough so, that for the first time, I kindly made a complaint. I wasn't angry, but as a business owner, I felt the need to let them know. When I got out of my massage, I was the first of 6 friends to be done. When I sat on the couch to wait for my friends (who would be out any minute since we all booked the same time), I was told I had to go stand in the hall and wait. Ha! We were the last massage of the night, there were no clients waiting! This place charges 5 star prices for 2 star service. Thermëa is Whitby was far superior. I do not recommend this spa for the money. read more
Let there be emphasis that this spa enforces absolutely no phones (or even e-books on your phone) and no talking. Employees are stationed all around the outdoor baths to shush you if they see you talking. To some, this is an oasis of tranquility but to most, the rigidity of their rules appears to add more stress and ironically takes away from the whole goal of relaxing. I came here on a Tuesday and it was still fairly busy. Pros: -Various styles of steam rooms and 3 pairs of hot tub/cold plunge pools available. -Unique outdoor environment that you don't get at every spa. -They have real wood fire pits that produce a lovely smell around the baths. -Complimentary tea available (but no cold water) -Just down the road from Blue Mountain so you can fit in a spa or massage after skiing/snowboarding Cons: -There aren't enough clocks around the outdoor baths area. It's difficult to keep track of time (especially when you have a massage appointment) when you're not allowed to check your phone and most people don't want to wear/submerge their smart watches into a hot tub for extended periods of time. -Towel service is lacking and does not make sense. I only got 2 towels when I checked-in and there were none in the changing rooms if I wanted more. They ask for you to keep all of your dirty/dripping wet towels until the end of your stay and then to carry it upstairs to deposit in a tiny wall slot by reception (like it's a library book).. Why not just add a towel return bin in the changing room? Make it easy for guests? -Showers are akin to that of a public swimming pool. Shampoo/condition/body wash are of subpar quality. Their website says they provide compostable bags to keep your wet clothes in when you leave but there were none. -Locker spacing is quite tight, especially since they are so busy. I was constantly bumping into people or saying excuse me to get to and from my locker. -Massage availabilities are fairly limited - it's difficult to get massages with a friend at the same time. Overall, my massage was just average and the overall experience was ok. It's nice they offer RMT services for people with coverage but I would not crave to come back or pay out of pocket for this experience again. read more

I couldn't get any more photos because following rules, phones/cameras were not allowed past the front desk. read more
I've been to this location before, and the one in Montréal, and to be quite honest I've had nothing but disappointment with both locations. The one in Montréal was decent with the bath towel service, but their baths were down and weren't operational until 4 hours into the treatments. Collingwood just can't manage expectations, and this is a know fact by locals and now tourists like myself. I understand that it is a holiday however, their Managment team should know how to manage customer expectations by either pre selling time slots or have time limits on treatments. Such a disappointment and huge turn off for the guests I brought up here to experience this service. Super disappointed to drive all the way up from Toronto to be told at 10am to come back around 5pm, just to be turned away again. Had we known this, we would have stayed home and gone to a local spa. When we expressed our disappointment, they said, "Well, we are just busy and it's the holidays" by the lady at the door. Sitting in the parking lot now and watching droves of people get turned away as nothing is posted online on their websites and their phone lines are down. Communication is key and this is horrible PR for Blue Mountain tourism. Get your act together and quite honestly, I don't think I will spend my money here again or refer people to your company. EDIT: went back to Scanadive Spa in Montréal this past weekend as my friend who lives there urged me to try it again. Very happy with the friendly staff, and facilities... So bravo Montreal for stepping up where Blue Mountain couldn't!!! Blue Mountains Customer service needs to vastly improve before I consider going back to that dumpster fire. read more

Terrible place to go Service was terrible, waiting list was not working at all, rude to the customer We put our name in the waiting list two hours ago and when we arrived there, we had to wait another two hours. Spending $85 + tax, only a few small tub and limited sit there. not worth it to go. The best thing was the fresh air which it costs you nothing, very disappointed. read more

I was given a gift certificate for the Spa. It took me two years to get here. OMG why so long???? Started the day with an amazing massage. Thank you Tori!! Then moved on to the baths and saunas. They have two cold pools and two hot pools and three saunas. A classic Finnish sauna heated by a wood stove, steam sauna, very hot and steamy and my fav the infrared sauna. After this took some time to relax in one if the relaxation rooms. Had lunch in the bistro. Turkey sandwich with coleslaw and butternut soup. Nice simple lunch for a reasonable price. This place is very nice and worth the drive. Bring your flip flops, water bottle and rob, unless you want to rent one or booked the massage. Towels and lockers included. I know I will be back. read more

After a more than 2 hour drive and taking half day off from work + looking forward to a mental health break during rough times, we were asked to leave the facility after max 45 minutes due to issues with electricity connected to the weather. We received a refund for the entrance, but there was no consideration at all for the half day work that had to be requested off by one of us, the over 4 hours drive in total with waste of gas as well as my mental health break which is urgently needed. Even after sending multiple e-mails, they did not want to consider ANY type of compensation. Therefore this first experience with them I really consider it terrible with terrible service. read more
****Massage edition**** I rarely give out one star rating but this place has disappointed me in everything that it offered. Massage: This place should train the staff to LISTEN to each clients needs rather than follow their standard routine. I ordered an hr Swedish massage hoping the masseuse would work on my upper back and shoulders. I work in an office role which easily lead to sore neck and tense shoulders. I told the receptionist on the call here and the masseuse abt my problematic areas and where I had intended to target during the session. Instead, the masseuse (Erin) followed the same routine even though I specifically said several times throughout the session to target specific areas on my back. She did not listen and ended up opening more pains to my back than addressing those knots that I said to her several times during the session. The essential oils were completely useless and very little was applied during the session. You need the oils to dig deeper into the muscle knots. Pool and bath house: The pool was absolutely disgusting with dead bugs and dirt. They provided the robes but the robes were of those over washed scratchy towel-like material. I felt uncomfortable and itchy the entire time. The benches were covered in snow so it was not available to put the robe anywhere. Not worth the gas money to hike up from Toronto. I can find so many better ones in the city that actually live up to the hefty price charged on a massage appointment here. It's meant more for a travellers gimmick rather than actually soothing away those tense muscles. Will not return. read more
I was there for my birthday, a gift from my hubby. Amazing, unique, relaxing, romantic, memorable day we had. I was terribly stressed and wanted to relax and get away from the chaos. This place had it all. Its like a paradise, beautiful, the hot spa pools make you feel like in heaven. The place is calm, silent and visitors respect it. Their concept is: hot-cold- relax & repeat. For hot , they have: eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, 3 hot water pools,1 with jacuzzi For cold: 3 pools For relaxing- chairs besides the bon fire in the open, hammocks, rooms with rest beds, solarium. Washrooms and lockers are big, clean and well equipped. All you need to carry is : robe, water bottle & flip-flops; they provide towels and you can replace as many times you want. Cons: no reservations taken for bath, not many options in cafe, no night stay options :P Tip: Visit them on a weekday, wait times can be brutal on weekends and holidays. read more

This place strictly enforces peace, relaxation, silence, and getting in touch with nature. Keeping track of time here is hard, and I found it laughable that the signs say "recommend to go into this sauna for 15-20 minutes, then follow up with a 10-20 second dip in the cold bath", because there is no way to keep track of time while inside the sauna unless you have a watch. Also there is no chatting allowed. There are literally staff walking around with Tshirts that say silence walking around. Other than that, the features of the spa are pretty cool. It's all outdoors. There are multiple warm and cold baths, and different saunas, including a dry sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, and an infrared sauna. For cold treatment, they have 3 cold pools and one "nordic shower" which is essentially one of those emergency showers you would find inside a laboratory. On average, people spend 3-4 hours in the baths. There is also a tiny nature trail with posts and a pamphlet designed to guide meditation. There was a lot of giving thanks to trees and being mindful of the sensory inputs. At the end of the trail, I asked for a sample of the tea, and it was actually rather delicious In terms of the food, it was well priced and pretty healthy. I got a brussel sprouts caesar salad for $9, and it was rather filling, and got a $2 refillable coffee as I waited for my friends to get ready to leave. The bath booking cost $93. The massage experiences cost extra on top of that. It opens 9AM and closes 9PM. It got pretty chilly at around 3PM because some rain clouds were passing over, and I was trying to nap on top of a robe and a towel that won't dry off. Oh yeah, the air is also... not quite humid, but not dry enough to let your towels dry off by themselves. So all in all a great place to go by yourself or with your partner. I would not recommend this for a bigger party because coordinating everyone and keeping track of where people are is very difficult. read more
3.5 Stars Located in Collingwood this spa is very popular. So popular that we arrived at 9:30am and were put on a waiting list for 2pm for the water circuits. We had tried to make reservations for a massage 3 weeks earlier but they were fully booked for the Saturday we wanted. Highly suggest you make reservations way in advance if you want a specific date - this will also allow you guaranteed entry into the outdoor water circuits. Driving up to the parking lots is on a muddy gravel road (don't wear nice shoes!). The reception area to check-in/waiting area is small considering the popularity of the spa. You are crammed in while trying to line up to check in. Right beside this area is the small cafe where you can get soups/sandwiches and drinks. This makes the area even more congested unfortunately and by 1pm (we git in early) some items were already sold out so ensure you eat something before coming in - don't depend on the cafe. We chose to do the water circuits ($55) and the most popular option for the spa. You are given the choice to get a bathrobe ($12) or 2 towels (free). Make sure you bring flip flops as you will be walking outside. Head down the dirty carpeted stairs to the change rooms to your locker (don't lose tour key that's one a safety pin!!). It can get crowded on the weekends. Once outside however here is the magic - the hot pools, the cold pools, the sauna and the steam room are lovely. We went when it was lightly snowing and it was magical sitting in the hot pool with snow blanketing the area! There are chairs outside (around a fire pit) and a few hammocks which would be nice in the summer. There is also a relaxing room with chairs/magazines and ceiling to floor windows so you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall this was a great experience but I'm not sure if I would travel that far for this specifically - it's just too crowded and there is no guarantee you will get in. If you go on a weekday of course it's much less busy (i think on Wednesday the circuits are on $35). I'm glad I did get the opportunity to experience it and I do think everyone should definitely try it once. Body bliss in Toronto has water circuits- albeit not outside with the gorgeous scenery. read more

Bring your own robe, flip-flops and water bottle! They have water stations on site but if you don't have your own bottle, you'll be left dehydrated in midst of all the saunas and hot baths. You can opt to buy a water bottle and rent a robe ($12) but these are just some money-saving tips. If you rent a robe, the price will be ~$80/person for spa entrance which grants you admission to the hot baths, saunas and relaxation areas. The process of this spa experience is hot-cold-relax. 15 minutes in a hot bath or sauna, followed by a quick cold plunge, followed by a period of relaxation in their lounges/chairs/hammocks. The environment is quite an oasis. Their silence and no-cellphone policy creates a tranquil and stress-free environment. You're surrounded by beautiful pools and nature -- trees and open land. I thought the baths and sauna options were a little limited, but overall, it was a great experience to relax and unwind. The staff walks around often to make sure the silence/no phone policy is followed so make sure to comply to the rules unless you want to be rudely told off. I recommend going on a weekday, and early, if you want the ideal experience. It can get crowded otherwise, which would take away from the relaxing experience when you're fighting for space in the baths or sauna rooms. read more

I reeaallllyy wish they had a better sign up system! I called them and was warned beforehand to arrive early to ensure a spot in, I got there before 9am and there was a short line up already but was able to get in right away when registration started, but it was a bit stressful making sure you made it there on time without a guarantee you would get in! I came with a group of 3, and we stopped at the cafe for some food. I got the Moroccan meatball soup which was good but the others got the corn chowder and said it was too watery and not that great. You also have to pay for a robe and bring your own flip flops, I wish they provided them as most spas do! But you get 2 towels. The changing area was clean and they had shampoo, soap and a variety of lotions around. The changing area is more like a locker room in some parts and not spa like but lots of space. The saunas were great! they get really really hot, and the eucalyptus steam room was sinus clearing! The hot pools were heavenly! so warm, the hottest pool wasn't busy so for a while we had the whole pool to ourselves! The cold pools got a bit gross as time went on, oil film and a few bugs. There are hammocks on the other side, perfect for lazing around and taking a nap however they are busy and I had to watch them like a hawk to wait for someone to leave. But they also have lounge chairs around. We were able to whisper and talk softly not near anyone and were not hushed. Its a lovely place to spend the day there, but its not fun to drive back to Toronto after a day of relaxation. read more
Nirvana! I experienced the spa on a crystal clear crisp fall day surrounded by serene beauty. Completely relaxing, rejuvenating, restoring, and a delicious respite from my everyday. The environment that has been created allows you to leisurely make your own way through various pools, fire pits, steam, sauna, hammocks, and meditative sanctuaries in a be-you-tiful setting. The quiet allows you to re-focus, go within, re-connect to what's important and emerge back into the world refreshed. This is a must do if you're in the area! I can't wait for another visit. read more
I have been back to the Spa 3 times since my last review! I really enjoy this place. Yeah perhaps it can be pricey but I feel that the price is well worth the visit. You will feel energized. I usually start in the Eucalyptus steam room then cool plunge and then I read a book either in one of the rooms or on one of the hammocks etc... I just love it. It feels like a mini vacation. I have been with friends and we whisper when we chat. This is a relaxing spa after all. If you can get a massage get it! I can easily spend an entire day here going from bath to saunas to steam room to lunch to massage and read my book in between. You should go!! read more

I would NOT recommend this spa at all. It's approx. $80 to enter for pool/ sauna access (with robe and towel). For this price it would be nice IF: - we could talk to our friends we came with - have something to eat and -use our phones Two men walk around the grounds watching you the whole time they are there. They literally interrupt conversations and ask you to whisper. I drove from Toronto with a group of girls. We were not rowdy but were talking. It's unreasonable not to let us enjoy. It's like they want you to have fun but only in the way they define it. We wanted to eat our snacks by the pool. They told us it's not allowed. If you're not going to let people eat then you need suitable food choices- the cafe is woefully in adequate. read more
This is my sanctuary in Ontario!!! A great day spent with massage, outdoor hot baths, thermal and wood sauna, and eucalyptus scent steam room. Resting my muscles (from skiing at the Blue Mountain) in the hot baths followed by cold plunge pool (-13.5 degrees) is the bomb!!! Sitting in a hot bath with snowflakes falling on you was a great experience. It was very nice as the place limited the guests so it never felt crowded. QUIET sign is all over the facility so whisper as the place is meant for relaxation environment. There were some guests who disobey but quickly shush when staff came to talk to them. Eucalyptus steam was amazing! Left the room feeling mushy and refreshed all at the same time. My wife and I spent more than 3 hours at this place. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Would most definitely come back and also checking other locations. Pro tip: Bring your own robe and slippers. There's a fee for renting a robe. Definitely bring a water bottle. If your staying longer, bring snacks because you'll be starving. Be extra quiet. read more

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this experience. It was enjoyable, but at the same time there were so many bumps in the road that I'm landing on a 3 star review: Reservations: 1/5 Price: 3/5 Check-In: 5/5 Changing Rooms: 1/5 Pools: 5/5 Saunas: 5/5 Relaxation Rooms: 5/5 Massage: 2/5 For details, keep reading... First off, making a reservation there is almost near impossible unless you book 6 months ahead of time or something. After months of calling, being on hold, and calling again in hopes of cancellations, my partner and I finally got squeezed in for a Duo Massage appointment on a Friday afternoon (6:30pm). The massage packages are the way to go because it guarantees you access to the baths (otherwise you may be on a waitlist for hours on end), and you are supplied with bathrobes (which would cost $12+ to rent otherwise). Bring your own flip flops and water bottle. The Duo Massage came to $310+ tax and tip for two people, which is probably their most reasonable massage option. This included a 60 minute massage for two people (same room), access to the baths, and bathrobe rental. Since our massage was at 6:30pm, they allowed us to check in at 5pm to use the baths before and after our massage (they close at 8:45pm). We had a really enjoyable check-in experience with Oceane, who explained everything to us in detail and was very friendly and personable. The changing rooms are SO CRAMPED it's laughable. I was shoulder to shoulder the moment I walked in, and the lockers are so small/close together that you have to wait a good 10 minutes to get to one because of all the people around you. They provide bracelets that lock/unlock the lockers, so that part was kind of cool, but otherwise I was very stressed out trying to find a place to change. Once I got outside to the baths, my mood lightened significantly. It's a silent spa, so only quiet whispers are allowed, which made it a very peaceful environment. It being early March, the temperature was well below freezing in the Blue Mountain area, but the hot baths and fire pits they had in and around the baths had the temperature around 2-3 degrees, which was actually quite enjoyable. We started off with one of the hot baths (there are 3 in total) and they were clearly the more popular option. I stood beside a cold plunge pool but chickened out last minute so I'm afraid I can't speak on that (jumping into cold water in the middle of winter sounds fun though!) We also tried the saunas and steam rooms (HIGHLY recommend the eucalyptus steam room) and the relaxation rooms, which are essentially large sunrooms with lounge chairs and relaxing music - the temperature in there is PERFECT and is better than it sounds in writing. There are very few clocks around, so I'd recommend wearing a waterproof watch or something (cell phones are not allowed) to keep track of time. I had my watch on so when 6:15 rolled around we got out and headed for our massage. The rooms are very clean and again, very peaceful. I had just gotten a massage two days prior, but couldn't pass up on this reservation so there I was, ready to relax even more. That didn't really happen, however... the massage was OK-ish but my RMT just couldn't find the right pressure so by the end of it I was in a lot more pain than one should be after getting a Swedish massage. It took about 4 days for the soreness to leave my body, so I don't expect to revisit for the massage anytime soon. After our massage we gave the baths another try, but by this time it had gotten dark and the baths were full of university students making out and screaming (not sure where the "bouncers" that were around during the day went). We headed out shortly after. Back into the busy locker rooms we went. The check out experience was just as easy as the check in, and we left without further incidents. All in all, the baths were an incredible experience, but the fear of being on a waitlist for hours on end deters me from ever visiting just for that alone. I am glad they have a waitlist, however, because with how busy it was when I was there, I can't imagine how crowded it would be if it was a free-for-all. Tips: 1. Get a massage package - it gives you access to the baths so you don't have to worry about driving a long time without the guarantee of getting in. Hopefully you get an RMT that works well for you. 2. Bring your own flip flops and water bottle - they do a good job of reminding you about your bathing suit, but seem to miss out on the flip flops and you do not want to walk around barefoot. 3. Try to make a reservation as early as possible otherwise you'll be wasting a lot of time calling again and again. 4. Go during a weekday if you can. Avoid weekends/long weekends/holidays or else the place will be PACKED and less relaxing. read more
A great little getaway to recharge your mind and body just two hours away from the big city. They do have a deal on Wednesdays ($10 off the regular admission) so if you can afford or want to take a day off mid-week then this is the perfect reason to do it. I recommend to get there early as possible as there is limited space in the spa and there are no time limits once you enter. So you if you are unlucky, you could be on a waitlist for 1 to 4 hours depending on how busy they are. There was recently some fresh snowfall so the spa grounds looked very serene and pretty with the snow covering all the trees, bushes, and walkways. Shame that there are no phones allowed on site so you will just have to enjoy it with your eyeballs instead. Take a mental picture *click*. They are rather strict about silence while on the spa grounds and it is part of their philosophy of quiet introspection and embracing the quiet. I didn't run into any rude or overly strict staff shushing anyone but staff walking around do try to keep the atmosphere as the spa intended. They recommended a routine of hot bath for 10-15 minutes, cold bath for as long as you can bear it, and then chilling in a relaxation room to let your body enjoy the buzz. Of course, you can criss cross around as much as you like and not touch the cold bath during your stay. Doubly true if you are going during winter haha. The unique steam rooms are the best features of this spa. The wet steam room is super hot and humid and you will feel that you can touch the steam. The eucalyptus aroma carried by the hot steam mist is refreshing and help put you in a relaxing mood. The higher you go in the steps in the steam sauna, the hotter it will feel. It was probably my favourite experience and the sensation after coming out of the room was just as exhilarating. The dry sauna room was also pretty nice with two levels of wooden benches that you can either sit or lie down on to take a small siesta. The relaxation rooms can be a mix of long wooden benches and curvy floor lounge recliners. Don't mind those that end up falling asleep and snoring because you might find yourself doing the very same. We ended up doing the hydrotherapy routine (hot bath, cold bath, and then relaxation room) about 2-3 times which ended up being about 2.5 hours of time well spent. They even have two fire pits on the grounds where you can melt into a Muskoka chair while wrapped up in your plushly robe. Overall, had a very relaxing time here on a weekday and definitely worth at least one visit. read more
Highly overrated and poor service. Arrived at 11am to be told that there is a 2 hour wait list for the baths when it just opened at 10am. My group ended up waiting 2 hours at a Tim Hortons because we've already checked out of our lodge. When we came back to check in, staff seemed hesitant to help us and it could've been the fact that we were younger than a lot of the people who were already there. What upset me the most is that we called two days before to book appointments for the bath and massage package to be told that there's no massages available but when we were checking in, I saw a sign that said "Massages Available Today!". This "spa" runs on a no cell phone no talking rule, I've seen some people take their phone out so I decided to take one out of the four phones in our group out too since I did want to capture some pictures of the scenery. We didn't take it out once during the baths yet somehow they knew we had our phone and told us in front of everyone to go back and put our phones away, felt like I was in middle school again even though there was people walking around taking selfies. The amount of time we and the people in our bath got shushed started to get really discouraging and no one was even speaking loud and I even saw other people's face get annoyed every time. I wouldn't recommend this to other people, overpriced. I can just sit in a hot tub with my friends for much less. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE COLOURED! MOST RACIST SPA IN ONTARIO. I've visited spas worldwide and all over Canada, but the experience at the Scandinave Spa was memorably the worst. I have NEVER done anything different than i did today at all the spas I've been to, and has NEVER been subjected to this racist and horrible experience. Here's my story: We're a group of "coloured" execs "not children", that made a reservation to the Scandinave Spa to see what the hype was. Biggest mistake ever! Note: this was NOT our first group spa experience, but its definitely our LAST at Scandinave Spa. Our day started with massages, so far the experience was good. Then, we went to our locker room to check messages and change into our swimsuits to head to the water therapy area. Note: you're not allowed to use phones in the locker room unless you're using it for SMS reasons. That's understandably fine and makes sense. However, a female employee that works upstairs in the check-in, made her way downstairs to our locker area with a vengence towards us. She DIDNT see us taking pictures, but YELLED at us to put our phones away because phones are NOT allowed anywhere in the spa facility. There's a way to speak to people, and she clearly needs to learn that talent, because the manner in which she handled us was rude, unprofessional and classless. We didn't say anything to her, and placed our phones in our lockers, but within a matter of about 2 minutes, this unprofessional employee made her way back to our area, yelling at us that she came back to ensure our phones were locked away. NOTE: we were the only people in the locker room that was subjected to this, but we did see others on their phones. We made our way upstairs to get some food. First, the selection is very minimal, the only warm options are soup and coffee. The sandwiches are cold, tasteless, bland, and when we asked if there was a way we can get our sandwiches heated, we were told that they have no way of heating up the sandwiches. For a place that's supposed to be a luxury spa, the food selection is awful. Yet, while upstairs eating, we couldn't help but notice how many "caucasian" people had their phones in their hands. Note: the unprofessional woman that yelled at us to put our phones away because no phones are allowed to be used in the facility, was less than 10 feet away of all these people that were using theirs phones. We felt bad upon seeing this, but still stayed quiet and didnt say anything to anyone. Note: there are countless posts/pictures on Instagram that are tagged to the Scandanive Spa in Blue Mountain. These pictures are of "non-coloured" people in the pools and all over the "no phones allowed" facility. Some are as recent as 2 days prior to our visit. It gets worse....we headed to the water therapy area, and we are aware that we're supposed to use "spa voices", but there are NO signs that say it's a NO TALKING facility. As we already knew, our "coloured" group was being watched. The staff there didn't want us there and did everything to coerce us into leaving. Every area we went to, we were NOT the only ones talking using "spa voices", but we were the ONLY ones that were "coloured" and kept being cautioned. We were followed around the entire facility and it just got worse and worse. We confirmed we were being targeted when we went into soundproof rooms where it was ONLY us inside and the staff still came in to "caution" us. NO guest complained against us, the staff didnt want "coloured" ppl there and made every effort to get us to leave, even telling us on several occasions that we are free to leave. Then, we heard them ourselves on their walkie talkies telling each other where we were situated and taking turns as to who will come over to "caution" us. It's quite HYPOCRITICAL that a place that's trying to enforce NO TALKING to this group of "coloured" girls; the staff are seen talking, and are loud on their walkie talkies. I would NOT recommend any person of colour visit this facility, there are countless spas out there that have the same experience that you can go to and will NOT have to be worried about being subjected to such racist acts. read more

never WILL I RECOMMEND OR GO TO Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain... here is why First we came on the weekend got there very early.... We were put on a 5 hour waiting list, only to learn that somehow their Staff had lost our place and we wasted an entire day waiting for nothing.. So We Came back on Thursday Oct 31st 2019.. We arrived earl, nobody else was there which we thought was amazing.(although all the staff looked very unhappy, there was no smiles, no nice greeting, not even a wave or hi there)... As soon as they opened the doors we went to front desk only to be ridiculed by a very young blond girl.. We have never been here and were asking lots of questions... the employee was huffing and exhaling at the questions we were asking. My fiance who is 5 months preggers was asking about the prenatal massage. My finance was asking about the massage, what the benefits were, and what style of massage it was... The staff member not only huffed again at my fiance, but then continued to tell my fiance that she should have called her dr and ask the dr about it first... My fiance again said, look i just want to know what the benefits are and style of massage, you announce it as prenatal so i would like to know what the difference between regular massage and prenatal one.... the staff member again with a stern voice said.. "I'm not a dr, so i cant give you medical advice... we responded we are not asking for medical advice we just want to know the process and benefits that Scandinav claims for this prenatal massage.. Either way i personally pat for our entire group, We were literally the only ones there up until around 9:50 am before seeing another guest... My fiance went right into the massage, as my friend and his gf and i went into the pools... we were quietly chatting with the 3 of us as i was explaining the health benefits of hot cold therapy when all of a sudden we were Shushed by a staff member.. they said there is absolutely no talking on the premises... lol i laughed and pointed at the sign that said please leave cellphones and LOUD voices outside.. (which again we were barley whispering AND THE ONLY PEOPLE in the resort at this point... at this point we laughed it off only to 2 mins later have a different 3 staff members all at once threaten us that THERE IS NO TALKING... (side bar,... i have had around 2 dozen friends go here, and not one of them was silenced EVER.. they were quiet and whispering with each other, and some even say there has been quiet chatter between guests... Shortly after (and again still the only 3 people in the pool area/resort) i 3rd shushed came... we all go up, went to the change room, waited for my fiance to finish her massage, we packed up and left.... then as we were leaving .. my friend jimmy.. who is a big black dude, was tying his shoes in the front lobby when he was ACCUSED of trying to steal the bracelet that opens the lock doors... LIKE WTF are you serious.... We dropped $650 for one hour of Horrible, mean disgusting, racial attitude from the spa staff.. AS A PERSON WHO VOTES WITH MY DOLLAR, AND A PERSON WHO STICKS UP FOR HUMAN AND ANIMAL RIGHTS I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND GOING THERE... I FEEL ROBBED, I FEEL LIKE WE WERE TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS, AND HONESTLY WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEY BACK BUT I'M NOT A CHEAP PERSON AND I FEEL SCANDINAV SHOULD KEEP MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND GET THERE STAFF SOME ETIQUETTE TRAINING EVEN THOUGH THAT RESORT WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE STAFF MADE THAT 2 HOUR TRIP UP NORTH WASTE OF MY TIME, MONEY, AND ENERGY. VERY UPSET, DISAPPOINTING AND ROBBED Was Very Disappointing, Feel Robbed, staff WAS ATROCIOUS/MEAN/ABRASIVE read more

This was a piece of heaven for the day.. Relaxing, beautiful, tranquil. An absolutely lovely place. Customer service was excellent from the minute we walked in. The attendants working on site were relaxed, professional and courteous. We loved the clean facilities with well groomed landscaping and beautiful flowers. The baths are clean, as were the sauna's and steam room. Pathways are clear and clean also. If you have been to any of the natural mineral baths in Europe or Western Canada, don't bring that experience in mind. These are not natural hot springs, but rather hot and cold man made pools set in a very pretty tranquil setting. Towels provided are the basic thin white low end budget hotel type towels - bring your own if you think of it. Some people had robes, but once they get wet, and you hang them on the rack beside the pool, they get really cold. In warmer weather I can see them being worthwhile. Also the little firepits and hammocks where you feel like you are in a cocoon. I also had a swedish massage which was excellent. You can get reimbursed on the massage since they are RMTs. I would suggest James. Great time! Recommendations: Bring flip flops or plastic sandals from going from pool to pool and into the steam room and sauna. You will need them in the Changeroom. Make a reservation Bring a decent towel Enjoy. read more

my fiance, myself, and 2 others went to scandinav spa last week.,... just the worst customer service, rude abrupt, and racial behavior from the staff.. my fiance wrote a review explaining the situation and the owner had ta audacity to defend the employees behavior... at least apologize for the tone and manner of your employees,..... We have also heard feed back from many other people about these type of un-called for behaviors from the staff and it seems to be a theme of this locations employees. The 4 of us HIGHLY WARN others to go to other spas and save yourselves the trouble of experiencing what so many others have gone threw before us... save your money, save your time.... and avoid this trash pit... ps... .if you do go, make sure to call your DR, becasue none of the staff know anything about any of the services they offer, and will not help to explain the healing benefits or concerns about ANY of they guest activities read more

This place is filled Racism and hostility. They have a preferred clientele and make it very obvious. After my services I was complexly embarrassed. I wanted to run home and forget about the experience. Because I didn't state my feelings at the facility, they refuse to give me my money back. Imagine, standing there, in a room full of condescending white people, stating you feel uncomfortable and can feel their hostility, and would like your money back... Funny enough, when I called I didn't say my name or anything and Kevin at the font desk knew who I was IMMEDIATELY. He was ready to call me a liar and dismiss me completely. I feel like this is a thing that they do to their coloured clients. If you read the reviews SO MANY people of colour all say the same thing to the point where it is absolutely heartbreaking. I swear this place needs to be shut down. read more

Scandinave Spa - The Blue Mountains is an absolutely serene and rejuvenating experience! From the moment you enter, the peaceful forest setting and minimalist design make it easy to unwind. The hot baths, cold plunges, and relaxation areas are all thoughtfully arranged to promote deep relaxation. What I loved most was how the whole space encourages you to slow down and focus on your well being. The contrast between the hot and cold elements truly revitalizes your body, and the quiet outdoor spaces surrounded by nature make it feel like a true escape. The atmosphere here is calm and restorative - perfect for anyone needing a break from everyday stress. Whether you're after a couple's retreat or a solo self care day, this spa delivers a memorable, peaceful experience. Highly recommend! read more

The reality of this so called spa is that it is nothing more than a nickle and dime kiddy pool. I am of Scandinavian heritage and this is a disgusting con. Poorly managed by a guy named mark (a village is missing there idiot when he is on duty). You gat billed for towels, robes and cheap flip flop sandals. The food is bland, poorly prepared and less than edible. $75.00 and no reservations, but you get a cheaply made in China water bottle. Wait times are long, pool s are noisy, especially the low rent Asians that show up. Don't waste your time or money!!!! Better yet for $6k you can have a better home spa (hot tub/sauna) installed in your back yard. I only rated them as a1star as zero is not available. read more

A relaxing getaway from the day to day life. Being Finnish this is a refreshing concept and enjoyed every minute of it. Cost is around $40 and you have access to all the hot/cold tubs for as long as you want. They also have a large Sauna and great indoor seating to read magazines and outdoor seating around a real bonfire. Lockers are given to you with area to wash up and blow dryers to get dressed after your done relaxing. Food is available upstairs but is true Spa food as it is very health conscious and not too cheap. Massages are also available by appointment. Cant wait to return! read more

Very relaxing here. I would love to come here in the winter - in the summer it's great to soak in the hot and cold tubs, but then to take a nap under the trees in a hammock. Nothing like peace and quiet with a little bit of wind blowing through the leaves. I especially love the eucalyptus steam room. Wowza. Hard to get used to breathing in there, but quite nice when you get used to it. They are super strict on the quietness rule here, which I thought was a little bit mean at first, but it really is a nice courtesy to everyone's relaxation experience. Recommended! read more

Since when does a company read the view of a party of guests and passive-aggressively say without saying that it was the reviewer's fault?! I know Justin Booth personally and the man is FAMOUS for making awesome video reviews of every great Business he visits around the world, so I know he's not making things up! epic fail on your part blue mountain. You lost a very valuable promoter and customer there. In Business owning your mistakes and making them right are crucial, sadly you and your staff seem to neglect this fact read more

worst place ever,... went here a few weeks ago, staff literally made me cry... had some friends go there recently and have the same experience... then i saw the response letter from the owner to their review.... after seeing this horrible uncouth behavior, i felt it necessary to warn other from falling in to this horrible energetic place.. save you money, save your time, and to the owner of the spa... save your breath and get some new staff if you plan on keeping your doors open read more

Great place very enjoyable and for most part they keep people quiet. Love the smell of wood and the mint. However common one drink before bath should be allowed for that extra edge of relaxation, and food needs to get better guys you should be banking on this, get a cook everybody is hungry after baths, and I mean real food not some dried up sandwiches. I like the place and I come every year at least couple times. read more

The baths, sauna and steam rooms are nice and I would considering it a daily routine if it was closer, much closer. To drive 2 hours for the experience may as well be a one time endeavour. Other then that, the facility is clean and well kept. Even though it was busy, I didn't feel like it was too crowded. We had the couples massage and it was meh. Nothing special. read more
