The cinema belongs to the 'Yorck Group" and as such presents generally a better and more ambitious…read morerepertoire than Multiplexes (still - they will be showing Shades of Grey in two days... wtf?)
BUT... it is very small, the seats are not really comfortable, no holders for drinks or hand bags, it gets quite stuffy at the end of the show..
AND what I really found not-up-to-date and annoying: even if you buy tickets in advance, you have to come at least a half an hour earlier to queue in an impatient mass of people, waiting for the former show to end, the former audience to come out (there is no separate exit!) and then RUN and FIGHT for good seats as Kant Kino in 2015 still hasn't managed to organize a ticket/selling system combined with seats reservation.
I guess the cinemas of Yorck Group generally don"t sell seats reservations, but somehow it all works better in other locations.
To sum up - I'm sorry to say that but I guess I will try to avoid Kant Kino in the future - not due to its program but due to its bad logistic conditions.
