They ask if you've ever been there before and I had replied no. So they showed me around and explained everything. I picked up my color and Caitlyn met me immediately to get me started. They provide heated neck wraps, if you'd like, the massage chairs have all kinds of wonderful functions, and the whole atmosphere is very pleasant. Everybody from the staff to the clients were all having a good time and enjoy enjoying themselves. Caitlyn did an amazing job and my toes look great. My rough heels are smooth and the massage on the legs felt great. Heather also makes all of our own scrubs, lotions, and washes. Wonderful sense to choose from, and I did take the tangerine mint lotion home. I have a feeling I'll be back for other sense as well. Definitely will be returning.

I've had TONS of manicures- in and out of the US + I lived in Vegas for years... I've had all types of elite spa manicures and quick fix hole-in-the-wall manicures. My mistakes for this appointment: *Booking a couple days before via text- led me to end up with a very inexperienced manicurist. *Not inquiring about pricing- I expected to simply spend less than $50 for a basic paint manicure (coming in with naked nails), so didn't think much about asking when I booked. Beautiful salon with coffee/tea and refrigerated beverages available for clients. I was so excited after arriving I even text my boyfriend to tell him how nice the salon was! The manicure felt VERY slow with very soft work on my nails and (annoyingly) soft finger/hand massaging... I'm assuming this is partly due to me coming in with naked nails- she was trying to tie up some time maybe? So I don't mind a nice finger/hand massage- in fact I love it, but it was SO slow and gentle and I didn't request any extra massaging nor was I offered any options for upgrades or even manicure packages and/or pricing. Before paint (see pictures) she took me to the front for payment- $60 for a completely basic manicure; I almost didn't get any paint since I typically go natural and I wished I hadn't. I was shocked at $60 but paid of course and tipped $6 on the receipt, mostly due to my shock- I had some cash so would have tipped more had things gotten better. I've never paid $60 for a basic manicure, not even with gel. Have I paid that in high end hotel spas with amenities and such? Probably, but this was in Sandpoint Idaho, close to the woods I grew up in!!!! Other things: *She didn't clean out underneath my nails at all, which I thought was standard for any manicure, nor did she really pull my dead cubicles off and it was already too late when I realized it. *She tried to be done after two coats but I could see most my nails completely through the polish so had to ask her for another coat. Overall I didn't really enjoy the manicure, however I didn't hate it either- it just wasn't my speed/vibe personally and unfortunately the experience didn't match my expectations, especially for the cost, at all. *There should be a basic (reasonable) manicure price available with upgrade options. I might give Heather's Nail Boutique another try in the future but I'll be more specific on what I'm wanting and such when booking. I waited two weeks from day of service to post this review (my nails were pretty rough for the duration of my work trip in California) - I was debating on posting at all but I think it's important that, as our little sleepy Idaho towns grow so fast and our options change, people are sharing their experiences with things like going to the salon for a simple manicure.

As with everything else increasing, I feel a $60 charge for taking a couple inches off and a few wisps of long layers around the face and a blow dry is a bit exorbitant but these are the times we live in now. She offered me 12:30pm tom (Wednesday). I gave her my information and left happy (despite her demeanor of being inconvenienced) for an appointment that fit my timeframe (as I had a doctors appointment the next day - Thursday). Showed up on time, she's doing a manicure and lets out a huge sigh. Asks my name, talks to co-worker and tells me that I don't have an appointment today. Co-worker looks at the schedule and tells me I'm booked for Thursday at 12:30pm. I explain that I booked with her yesterday, for today. She proceeds to get angry at me and argue that I'm booked for tomorrow. They offer me an appointment for this evening (Wednesday). I declined because I have work. At this point, I've decided that I'm spending zero pennies with this business. I told them, thank you, I'll go somewhere else. It's unfortunate, because I really needed a pedicure before my doctor's visit tomorrow. I ended up finding this one based off recommendations on an online forum and I am so glad I did because they have this amazing hybrid tanning bed that tans you at the same time as delivering red light therapy. It has lots of fans on it so it keeps you pretty cool during it and not overheating. The bed is nice and clean and the room is private. The bed can go up to 12 minutes and I never feel burned. I even allow the face tanner which I didn't before since this one has different intensity levels and again, is offering red light on your face. You can book your sessions online or in person, I've done both. It's $140/month for unlimited tans and they're open 6 days a week I think, from around 9:30-5pm. I always try to get in first thing to keep it easy. So far everything has been seamless to do and they will text you deals as well. I'm excited to try other things here but for now I really enjoy this.
