North Valley Community Church (NVCC) is a non-denominational Christian church located in Phoenix,…read moreArizona. North Valley is fun and welcoming. They are focused on being Christ- centered and using Christ as our guide in life. They realize people are at different places on their spiritual journey. It's their primary goal to simply help you take the next step on that journey. They provide a "come as you are" environment where skeptics are welcome, questions are encouraged, and growth happens. The dress is casual. The music rocks. The people are friendly. And the message is real to life. Child care there is amazing. The kids learn and have fun. Classes during service range from ages 0-8th grade. They also offer a high school group in the evening. Here is a video from the church. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWkd2yFObuE

Whoever these few…read morepeople are below who have given scathing reviews, they clearly did not go to Desert View Bible Church with a heart for Christ. If they are going to church to hear good singing voices, they are going to church for the wrong reason. However, I disagree and believe that the music and the worship service is good and is focused on giving glory to God. Not sure about those reviewers motives. "People wearing different kinds of hats?" Nobody wears a hat during the services, and we have hundreds of members that attend. And it is not a "Megachurch". This church is absolutely Bible-based and full of wonderful people who are, in most cases, God-fearing, and committed to the Lord. They should try to love their neighbor instead of slandering them. God bless you all.

The Church grounds are so beautiful. The kid's playground is planted right in the middle it and is open to the public Monday through Saturday. It is completely covered and shady, perfect for the Arizona heat. It's also turf, which is great for babies who fall a lot :) The playground is more suited for children 1-6(ish) - I could see it being a little boring for anyone older. I love that there are parts more geared towards little babies and other areas more suited for the "big kids". My boy loved the slides, making music with the instruments, and playing with the steering wheel. For the warmer months, there is also a splash pad! We had so much fun here, and I'm sure we'll be back.
