First I was looking to repair my engagement ring, then I decided to reset it. I then changed my mind again and decided to make an entirely new ring out of diamond studs I was given (since I do not wear earrings). Believe it or not, it is not easy to find nice settings for two diamonds. I soon realized the setting would have to be custom made. So I first looked at my neighborhood jewelers. One of them in Davie, Maurice at Maurice's Jewelry Box said that I should really go to his parent's store as they had a bigger selection. So that's how I ended up at DSH. I found a picture online had it copied. It was a beautiful vintage setting. The first wax model did not turn out quite as I wanted it the first time so Helaine and Daniel sent it to someone else to be redone at their expense. When it was finally complete, I loved the finished product! I then had DSH take my original engagement diamond to make a beautiful halo pendant. Another job I was very happy with! Since then, I have gone to the store to have my watch and jewelry repaired. Their jeweler is very experienced and does a great job. Helaine is so warm and friendly. From the moment I met her she made me feel like family. I think I have bought my share of jewelry for a long time. But it's nice to know that if I need anything, Helaine and Daniel are there.
