He told me he'd call me that evening or next morning to schedule. When he hadn't called by the next afternoon, against my better judgment, I called him. He was "out by the pool" - I guess too busy to return my call. We set a date for the work to be done and even discussed a starting time of 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. At 9:15 on the date of painting, after our preparation of removing pictures, breakables, etc. and no painters showing up, I called Dan. He was clueless, didn't "think" he had me on the schedule, didn't remember us scheduling. I reminded him of the exact events. He says "I'll call you back in 2 minutes". Calls me back and says he has no crew available til tomorrow. AT THIS POINT I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BUSINESS, AND SAY NO THANKS. I WOULD SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER. The painters may do good work, I don't know. But Dan Murphy is NO Business man.
