It's a small grocery store but I found everything I needed to make my Indian meal here. On the left side is the produce and frozen foods and the other side sells spices, canned/jarred items and various rice and flour. They also offer Western Union services. Oh and did I mention there are 2 counters that sell hair weave supply in there too? It was a little different as I've never seen hair weaves sold in a grocery store before but aren't we all about "one stop shopping" now? I saw lots of items there like regular and whole wheat naan (fresh and frozen), injera, corn tortillas, papadam, and roti. The produce and frozen meat section are pretty small. I don't think I saw any fresh meat. They carry halal items like chicken and goat. There's also lots of frozen Indian dishes - kinda like the frozen food section in the main stream grocery stores except this one is full of Indian items. Great offering of prepackaged spices (whole and ground) - no bulk section except when it comes to pulses like peas and lentils. Depending on the spice, they come in small portions that will cost you about $2 each. Not bad although some of the spices come in larger amounts than I would want to buy since I don't make Indian dishes all the time. There are also lots of dried chillies available too. Service was nice as one lady helped me look for items even though I was about pay. It's nice cause one of the items I was looking for was actually under a different name than what my recipe called for - I would've never found it if she hadn't helped me! Note: They do take credit card but I think there was a note about a minimum of $5? Something like that. But I don't like to use credit at these small stores - margins are already low in grocery so I don't want them losing 3% out to Visa or whoever.

They have a wide assortment of Asian products such as rice noodles, beef/cuttlefish/fish balls, BBQ pork, miso soup, tofu, etc. Produce isn't of the best quality, but they are definitely cheaper than your No Frills/Safeway alternative, so take it or leave it. Personally I purchase most of my produce from Young's even though I live in Osborne (and have a Safeway 5 min walk from my house). If you're wearing a backpack entering the store, you'll have to put it at the front. The cashier at the front will tell you where to leave it. Definitely a place I will shop frequently, especially coming from someone who misses Asian cuisine.

My disability makes shopping at Superstore impossible, its too big to walk for me, but this service allowed me to get decent groceries at decent prices (my income is limited due to disability). Now that they will only allow online ordering and pickup for those who pay online via credit card. Being on disability means I cannot get a credit card, so this service is no longer available for me. I am very disappointed in Superstore, and upset that a service I have been using for a year now has been taken away simply by them refusing to take cash and insisting on credit cards.
