Ladies working there look like they have experience making delicious homemade goodies but not the most welcoming. I asked if everything was made today (shocked at how much selection they had) and the lady took offense and gave a very curt reply in the affirmative. I was a little taken back when the bill came to $30 for 1 cinnamon bun and 1 cheese scone. Which one cost $20??? Although very fresh and extremely tasty can't say it was worth that exorbitant price. Both were cooked perfectly and extremely tasty. Both were on the larger size but closer to 1.5xnormal. Even if they were double the price is still high.

Stopped in with a friend and our collective 4 kids this weekend on our way through town. How could I resist another donair shop! First impression. Minimalistic. The eating area is about 1/4 of the building. Kitchen seems way too big for this space. Employees couldn't hear us over the equipment when they were at the back. And we had cause to attract their attention several times. Staff were a little...confused....but polite enough. I had a large donair and my kids shared a medium ham & pineapple pizza. With our 3 cans of pop it rang in under $30. Not bad value. Pizza was decent. I liked the crust. Now... The donair. Meat was a little spicy which was honestly the only "good" thing. Luke warm. Veggies seemed greasy. Sweet sauce was really not noticeable. Side of garlic sauce was not very good. Size for price was reasonable. If this were my local shop... I'd likely shop around. As this is Wetaskawin and for all I know...the only shop in town...I would have to guide them to a meal I would want to come back for. My mission continues!

Big eaters may want something else or larger. My wife ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was slightly larger. Her sandwich was very tender. Our coffee was okay but not as outstanding as the food. Service was pleasant. I think that we were served by the owners. We appreciated that they didn't have loud music going on in the dining area. In fact it was pleasantly quiet inside. We'll definitely return the next time we pass through Wetaskiwin.

The owner also has a little gift shoppe going on in there too! We each got very different coffees, and I was very impressed with the quality of coffee and the time it took to make them! We tried her fresh baked cinnamon buns, cookies and blueberry scones! So yummy!! She also conversed with us which was nice, and made the experience much more personal! I cannot wait to come back, definitely better than any of the chain coffee shops and friendlier than a lot of the locally owned and operated ones! I know the owner by name, that is a rarity! So happy we stopped in!!

The lady in front of me ordered a latte, and I watched the steam wand get put in the milk, turned on and set down before the barista hustled about with other activities. Forget microfoam or latte art - it's just a crapshoot if you'll even get steamed to the right temperature. I ordered an Americano (no steaming) and it was served quickly and correctly. What it had in service it lacked in quality. The espresso was weak and a little bland and even my 14 oz. cup nearly drowned out the shot. Nice restaurant, good place to work, lovely art. The coffee is not for coffee lovers though. Suggestions for management: train (or hire) real baristas. I liked The idea of single origin beans, but what you had was lacking. Update: I stopped in and just ordered a regular coffee. Again, the lady working was lovely, but the coffee left something to be desired.
