In 2011 that all changed when historic flooding took the area and flooded the grocery. From the flood a new Hines Grocery was born. The breakfast and lunch are the same as are the fantastic specialty meats and sausages you can get in the freezer. The biggest change is the expanded dining area and the Friday Saturday steak house. Our large group of 16 was seated on time and served in a friendly prompt manner. The food? Awesome. Get the potato skins and crab claws for appetizers and the ribeye with a baked potato. Go there. The sizes includes 1 oz. 3.5 oz. 6.5 oz 10 oz. 16 oz. (available for their most popular flavors) The prices varies from $1.95 to $17.95. Their shipping is one flat fee for $7.95 which is a bargain.... Our experience at this Walmart convenience store was very disappointing. The cashier, Chicago,…read moreappeared to be more focused on carrying on a conversation with another customer and chatting with a coworker than assisting the long line of waiting customers. There were approximately 10 people in line, yet only one register was being used while the other employee appeared to be stocking shelves, with an unopened box in her hand, instead of helping. It took about 12 minutes just to prepay for fuel. During the transaction, I had to repeat my pump number and fuel amount three different times because the cashier wasn't paying attention. In addition, the soda fountain was out of service, and totes of inventory were stacked in the walkways, making the store feel cluttered and difficult to navigate. Overall, customer service was poor, and the store appeared disorganized. I hope management addresses these issues because this location has the potential to provide a much better customer experience.
