I definitely owe this awesome woman a review! From the time you walk through the door Sartara is very welcoming and good at what she does.... She even has a stocked fridge with water bottles for the clients! She is thorough, and the end results are amazing! Her work space is very clean/sanitary and she washes her hands and uses sanitizer every time. Which is something I keep my eyes open for in salons! She does an amazing job. It was pain free, and even tho I'm a habitual tear producer she didn't get frustrated with me. Which is comforting. She is easy to talk to and helps the time fly by, almost like an hour long vacation lol. I fell asleep when I first got them put on!! I've had my lashes for a month now with 1 fill and they still look great - lol I've decided I'm in love and will spend the money to keep them. Thank you Sartara (spelling?)

She did such a great job on my extensions. I was so nervous at first but quickly felt at ease. She was so sweet and truly took her time to do a great job. Will be coming back.

Sartara is amazing!!! I had my first set of eyelash extensions put on by her and she made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable. I just told her what I was looking for and she gave me exactly what I wanted! Everyone's been asking where I got them done! I love them so much and will definitely be coming back :)

I never write reviews anywhere whether I have amazing service or horrid service but I must say Satara is one of the most amazing people I have ever met! Her customer service level is amazing! My lashes ate always perfect when I leave! I would not recommend anyone else to do your lashes, she is always professional. :) if I could give more stars or a higher rating I would!

I was a loyal client at BloGo for almost two years, consistently seeing the same lash artist,…read morereferring multiple friends, and spending thousands of dollars. That loyalty clearly meant nothing. After 5 weeks between appointments, which has never been an issue in the nearly two years I've been coming, I was suddenly told my scheduled 3 week fill had to be changed to a full set for an extra $80, or my appointment would be canceled. There was no warning at my last visit and no willingness to assess my lashes in person, as had always been done before. Most of their clients are college students who go home for Christmas break for four weeks, and expecting us I guess "not" to get lashes done during that time when the lashes clearly don't last that long! Does not makes sense. This was never a problem before, yet suddenly it became a reason to drop me as a client. Instead of working with a long-term customer, management decided we were "not the right fit." It honestly just feels like this decision was about charging more money, and that's all that matters to them now. Policies can change, but communication, consistency, and loyalty should matter. Unfortunately, they didn't here. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and so will the friends I referred.

Zero stars My most…read morerecent appointment at BloGo was on Dec. 12,2024 . I will never return. I do not recommend this salon to anyone. I have been going here for years, the 2 stylists I had been seeing are no longer here. I booked with shea. This was a huge mistake. The appointment started off bad, with shea being 15 minutes late. Shea ruined my hair, a month, almost 2 months, later and it is still damaged. I showed shea pictures of how the previous stylists (at BloGo) did my hair. Shea told me she could do it. Obviously, she could not. After 6 hours of Shea doing my hair, I had fried hair, along with two different shades, grey and orange. We agreed it would be all be one color, blonde. Shea also cut my hair. I said I wanted curtain bangs and layered hair. My haircut is choppy, uneven, and unblended. Joanna came over to the chair and instructed Shea how to fix my hair. My hair was not corrected, but made worse. After Shea spoke with the salon manger, Joanna, they told me I could come back ANYTIME I was next available to have it "fixed", free of charge. Once my hair was healed enough, I called BloGo to scheduled my "free" appointment to fix my hair. This was on 1/8/25. The receptionist spoke to Joanna, whom told her they could schedule me, however it would not be free. According to the receptionist, Joanna told her that because I I did not return two week after the initial appointment, it would not be free of charge. Not only was it right before Christmas and New Years, but my hair would not have been able to be touched at that time. I was not told this at the time of my appointment. Shea told me I could come at "anytime I was next available". I asked to speak to Misty, the owner, or Joanna. The receptionist said that they were both busy and would call me back later that day. I never received a call from either. Before this visit, I have never left a salon crying.I am beyond unsatisfied. As a loyal customer, I expected better.

I have been struggling with intense back pain, and after a back…read morescan revealed it was a muscle issue, the kind woman who did my scan highly recommended the masseuse Emily at Spa Belle La Vie. She claimed Emily's deep tissue massages had helped her immensely. I called to book an appointment, but the earliest available slot was over a week away at 11 AM. The Friday before my appointment, the spa called to reschedule because Emily was no longer available. Her next availability was a few days later at 12:45 PM on a Thursday. I agreed to the new appointment. I arrived early on the day of my rescheduled appointment, only to be met with disdainful looks from the six women lounging around the front desk, chatting amongst themselves. After an awkward wait, someone finally addressed me, saying someone would assist me shortly. Only one person seemed to be working at the desk. When I was eventually shown to the waiting room, I received no instructions about what would happen next or where to put my new client forms. When the masseuse came to get me, it was not Emily. I asked about Emily's whereabouts, only to be told she wasn't at work that day. Furious, I returned to the front desk, where the six women looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Oh, we will reschedule you." This was the second time I had been rescheduled, and I wasn't about to let them waste any more of my time. I walked out. This situation boils down to one of three issues: the front desk staff is incompetent, Emily is selectively choosing her clients and didn't want to work with me, or they don't want to service a Black woman. The waiting room was empty, so they clearly weren't busy. No wonder this spa has such poor reviews. I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience was beyond frustrating. Why would I trust them to reschedule me again only to be disappointed? I'm still dealing with back pain and am no closer to finding relief. If anyone knows of good spas in Tuscaloosa, please let me know.
