Immigration is overwhelming right now. After spending time on Reddit and other immigration forums,…read moreit's clear just how much confusion people are dealing with -- there are gray areas everywhere, and even consular officers and immigration attorneys are scrambling to keep up with the changes. Trying to figure it out on your own is nearly impossible, which is why having someone like Alicia made such a difference for us. We worked with her on a K-1 visa case, and things were moving smoothly -- until we hit a last-minute issue at the embassy due to a misinterpretation of the travel ban by a consular officer. It was no fault of Alicia's, but she jumped in immediately, clarified the legal error, and stayed on top of the embassy until it was resolved. She was professional, persistent, and ultimately the difference between having my life partner in the U.S. now -- or potentially being shut out for another 1-2 years. It's clear that Alicia is working hard behind the scenes to help as many people as she can through a really tough immigration landscape. We did have to provide some constructive feedback about how we'd to improve communication with us and she took that feedback well. She's sharp, knowledgeable, and focused on getting results -- and in a system this unpredictable, that's exactly what you need. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants a fighter in their corner.

A+, five stars, goes above and beyond…read more I hired Sheleen late last year after finding myself in need of a litigation attorney. From the get go, she was readily available, and more importantly, willing to hear about a case without charging an arm and a leg. It is unfathomable to me how many attorneys will charge hundreds of dollars for just a consultation, where they may later tell you, "Good luck, Chuck. I'm not taking your case." Anyway, more than giving a free consultation, I found her very personable. I felt she genuinely cared about my case and about me as an individual. She advised me well and I felt I had someone in my corner. She was very efficient, surprisingly so even with some personal circumstances coming into play. As far as results go, I got the outcome I wanted for my case, and more so, I was heavily impressed by her handling of legal affairs. She's very nice as a person, but as an attorney, she's a shark and that's exactly what you need. If you need a litigation attorney, look no further. Sheleen is your go-to! Do note, though, that if you're one of those who is used to online payments - that won't be the case here. That's one thing her website doesn't have set up.

As an owner of multiple properties (multi-family, single family, and commercial), I am well aware of the importance of quality legal representation. She is patient and thoroughly knowledgeable of the law in multiple areas of expertise. She is truly an asset to have on your team, whether it is for reviewing real estate contracts, facilitating negotiations, filing motions, handling mediations, or for trial appearances. From experience, I can confidently recommend her services.

I contacted this office seeking legal guidance on a traffic case and was surprised by how the call…read morewas handled. During my initial inquiry, the attorney raised his voice, spoke over me, and responded with visible irritation simply because I was asking questions about my situation. This was not a consultation--it felt dismissive and confrontational. Asking basic questions before retaining a lawyer should not result in being spoken down to. Professional communication and patience are fundamental qualities I expect from any attorney, especially during a first interaction. This review reflects my personal experience during a phone call. Based on that interaction alone, I chose not to move forward and instead will seek representation from a firm that treats potential clients with respect and professionalism.

Dear Mr. Baker, Ira…read more Thank you for your response. I appreciate you taking the time to explain the situation regarding these new hybrid school-zone tickets. That said, I would like to clarify that my concern was never about avoiding responsibility or disputing the outcome of the citation. I fully understand that the ticket had to be paid, and I accepted that. My review was based solely on the lack of customer service and the way my inquiries were handled throughout the process. For many years, regardless of whether it was a school zone or not, I have been a careful driver and have not received speeding tickets. This situation was unusual for me, which is why I reached out several times seeking clear information and guidance. Unfortunately, each time I called, the responses felt condescending, as if I were asking for a favor rather than seeking assistance from a service I had hired and paid for. I was also repeatedly placed on hold, which only added to the frustration. In the end, I spent more money by hiring your services and still paid the full amount of the ticket. While I understand that these new types of citations may be unfamiliar, professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication should remain consistent regardless of the circumstances. My feedback was intended to be constructive. If a client with a simple traffic matter felt intimidated and dismissed, it is concerning to imagine how someone with a more serious issue might feel. Thank you for your time and for acknowledging my experience. Sincerely, Luis Garcia
