Overall I felt like the dress selection is remarkable and unique. Lots of options to try on and the consultant knew what she was doing to recommend styles and options. She was extremely knowledgeable and to the point. On the other hand, it felt rushed, which is understandable because they book appointments every 30 minutes or so, and there were three groups at the same time as us and some people waiting for their turn so we had to be in and out quick to respect their time., I kind of enjoy other places where you are offered some bubbly, or similar , no drinks offered here, which again, is not a big deal, just something that I expected since I have been spoiled at other boutiques. Also, the consultant was kind of cagey when we asked questions about prices and instead just wrote down the prices for the bride secretly which seemed weird, not sure why this information would be so sensitive to share with the group. Might be the proper and polite way , but it felt weird compared to other places that were a bit more transparent. Best Dress selection so all the other little nits are irrelevant.

As I was trying to get settled and put my things down and communicate with a few of my friends, the woman who managed the store begin clapping and snapping at me and waving her hands telling me to hurry up and "get going." I think her name was Jessica. I felt rushed and frustrated and very uncomfortable. I immediately wanted to leave, but we had had this scheduled for six months and I did not want to just ruin the day that all of my girlfriends flew in for from all over the country. She then proceeded to pressure me into buying a dress that I was not in love with and insisted on a discount if I bought it right there in the moment. Interesting sales tactic, but truly made the whole experience uncomfortable. I also told them in the email and consultation that I did not want anything strapless and the entire time all they spoke about was how I could alter a strapless dress to include shoulders. We went to Bridal's by Jodie in West Ashley afterward and had the best experience and I got the most perfect dress- with straps. I have since recommended Bridal's by Jodie to four of my other girlfriends who have all purchased their own dresses there as well. Highly don't recommend Verita.
