To add to my review, the tv they brought was not my tv. We found out when it was still broken and had to call to make a new claim. Service provider has been very helpful, but we are now at 8 months since this fiasco began and I still don't have my tv. Sartor TV keeps lying to the service provider. They say they are talking to us and setting up appointments and then we are not there, but they are not talking to us. They called me on dec 14 th and said they found my tv and would call the next day with an update, but haven't called since. Supposedly they came to my house a couple Fridays ago with no appointment or without notifying anyone, but I have a ring camera and it didn't catch it. Still waiting. read more

I hate to write a negative review on a locally-owned shop, but I'd also like to give others a heads up. [Also, I'm an avid Yelper and I find it interesting that there are ~20 bad Yelp reviews for this company that have been hidden]. The screen on my 65" TV went haywire so Sartor came out to diagnose/fix it. Let me give credit where credit is due; the man who came to my house to pick it up did a fine job. My beef is not with him. Week & a half later: I hadn't gotten an update, so I call to check in. I hear: "oh, we just got to it and are looking at it now." OK. I call back 3 days later. "oh, we had to order a part, it's on the way." I give it another week or so and call back. "oh, the truck bringing it is taking forever, the part still isn't here." I called every 3-5 days to check in on my TV. If I hadn't called them, I truly believe I would have never heard from them and my TV would've fallen into oblivion. I got very generic answers any time I had questions and I started to wonder whether I would ever see my TV again. Ultimately, it took them 6 weeks to come to a resolution that could have easily been done in 1-2 weeks. I implore you to find another place to repair your television - do your research! Horrible service and they LIE! We took our TV in for repairs 2 1/2 years ago and have been getting the run around ever since then. Every time we came in to check on it they would tell us that it would be ready in less than a week. When we would check back with them they would always have an excuse and would tell us we would have to wait another week. They are nice enough folks that work there but their business practices are awful. It is NOT ok to continually lie to your customer. I think they were having trouble getting the part that was needed but rather than come clean, they tried to just get us to give up. read more

I will say that we have only been to this place twice now but both times I have been very happy with the service they provide. We own one of those huge projection TVs from the 90's and naturally with a TV that old you are going to have some issues. The first time we went to them, they brought the TV back from the dead. That was about 2 years ago, then this last Saturday (day before Superbowl) something popped in the TV and all went crazy. The guy we spoke to came to our house and fixed it right away, which was so cool because we didn't have to cancel our Superbowl party. They are very fair on their pricing too. Was forced to use this company due to an extended warranty repair. Guy came out, who was really friendly, made some notes and left. A few days go by and I do not hear back from anyone so I call. Spoke to some rude guy who basically told me I could not schedule a follow up appointment based on days THEY have available but that they make the schedule and then YOU'D better home on that day and time! Guy came out on 7/21 and nothing from them until I get an email from the warranty company saying that my TV has been successfully repaired. Really? Did Sartor sneak into my house today without me knowing and fix my TV? If so, that's some MAD skills they have! I called the warranty company to ask them why I got an email saying my TV was fixed and the guy on the phone was no help. Not that I blame him, since he's just answering the phone, but he told me to call Sartor. Yeah . . . no thank you. Told them I'm NOT dealing with Sartor any more and they need to find me another company. I even called Sartor afterward, just to see if I could get someone on the phone and, guess what? Automated voice. Not even 21st century "yes we're busy but please stay on the line" but "it's business hours but we're busy, call back." Dismissed! read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Direct Tv sent them out to pick up my Tv from my home for them to fix. I had to keep calling and calling bc three months later; he still had my TV. He ends up telling us the insurance company denied it bc it had a hole at the side bc it was dropped. SO IT WAS DROPPED DURING THE DELIVERY PROCESS BUT THEN TELL ME IT WAS ALREADY LIKE THAT. I have pictures of the Tv before. My wife and I show up to his store after he returns my Tv still broken and damaged more than in the past, and He starts screaming and yelling at my wife and myself. They never have returned a phone call, we have had to call and check on it each time. I'm going to pick it up take a loss with our payment for them to look at it and try a more reputable repair shop. I'm very thankful that the reviewer before me had a good experience. Our experience was much different. We contacted Sartor TV to fix our huge Mitsubishi television that started 'going green'. We would be watching, and all the sudden everything was green. They came over to the house, diagnosed the problem, took the television into the shop, ordered the part, and then nothing . . . for weeks. We called several times and were told the part had not come in. After 8 weeks, yes, 8 weeks, the part arrived. They brought the television back to our home and it was in worse shape than before. It would still go green and the calibration was way off. They did come back and take the television again, but we never heard from them, and it was very difficult to get a straight answer from anybody at the shop. The father wasn't around much, the sons did not have a lot of information, so after several weeks (again), we finally just showed up at the store and asked for the television back. Needless to say, the television was never fixed. Their customer service is non-existent and their technical abilities have to be questioned. It's truly unfortunate how many bad service companies there are out there. Rely on your friends' recommendations, internet reviews, and even paid or non-paid services that rate electronic repair shops, mechanics, contractors, etc. read more

I'm currently working with this company and hope to never ever have to need them again. They schedule appointments for service without you agreeing to the appointment. Frankly, the customer service is poor. I'm using a warranty so this maybe part of the issue. If you need television repair and you have other options please do so. PLEASE read these reviews, they are sooo correct! I wish I had checked Yelp! before I took my television there. They get the money for checking your tv out first then they drag you along and drag you along. They have a phone but I don't know why because they don't answer it nor do they return any calls! I'm sooo fed up with this place. I think since they do work for warranty companies then everyone else gets pushed aside. When we took the tv in he said that there were 2 different things that could be the problem which we already knew because my husband googled it. It was supposed to be fixed within 2 days because he just took in 2 tvs right before we got there. He said ours would be next and he has plenty of parts for LG tv's. Well, the next week I went in because he doesn't answer the phone or call back and he says it's some lights behind the screen. That wasn't even one of the things we talked about. And guess what... he had to order the parts because he doesn't have them. (Yes...my head IS spinning) I reminded him he said it would only take a couple of days and I don't like watching sports so I need my bedroom tv. He promised he'd put a rush on it. Well, the parts came in on Friday, he said, BUT he's busy on some other tv ahead of mine. I reminded him that he said I was next. I asked if we could just wait for it. He snapped at me saying it takes 2.5 hours just to open & close the tv. So once again he promised to have it by Monday at the latest but I raised my eyebrows (in shock) and he changed it to tomorrow morning by 11. I don't believe him one bit but seeing is believing and I'll do that tomorrow. Before we left I asked if he was going to call us or if we need to call him. They were on the list of Home Depot's preferred vendors for appliance repairs. The repair/service was for an over-the-range microwave purchased at the Home Depot. The guy at Sartor is arrogant and unprofessional. He said I am responsible for taking down my microwave so his repair guy can take a look. That makes no sense. If I can take it down, I can repair it myself. So Sartor was booked by Home Depot twice for a service appoint and both times they were a "no-show": I have also called Home Depot and filed a complaint on this vendor. read more

Wonderful experience. I've been wanting to write this for a few years. In the Christmas season of 2012 I took my 2005 50" Samsung DLP TV into Sartor a few days before Christmas after the owner's son told me he could replace the motherboard that had gone wacko for about $200. He was very knowledgable and helpful. Well compared to buying a new large screen, this seemed like a bargain. I remember we really wanted the TV by Christmas day for some reason. I also remember being concerned about Sartor's mostly negative on-line reviews. Well the repaired TV was delivered and installed, as promised, after dark on Christmas Eve! I bought a TV from Andrew & literally has been one of the best transactions/dealings Ive had!!! This guy took time away from his personal life to wait on me to get to the store due to my work schedule. took him about 2.5 hrs longer than I'm sure he would've liked it to but never once did he make me feel that he was put out in any way. Overall this was a great experience & would recommend these guys to anyone you wont be sorry!!! I'll be telling anyone I know buying a TV to give these guys a shout!!! The people that work here are very friendly. Having said that, there's nothing else about this place that I would give high marks for. To get a response from them, you need to call them about 5 times to get a response. They never seem to be able to schedule a repair call the day you talk to them. You get a response like "I'll call you back Monday to schedule your repair". Monday comes and nothing. Tuesday comes and nothing. You get the picture. This has to be one of most disorganized and unresponsive places that I've ever dealt with. read more

This company provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They did not show up for a scheduled appointment, and did not even call to let me know they woudn't be there. Then, when they did call to reschedule, ONLY after I reached out to them, I had to deal with the most unfriendly, unaccommodating person I've ever dealt with in customer service. They wanted to keep calling me every day to see if I was available, instead of letting me schedule a date for them to provide service. I told him that was very inconsiderate of my time, and he stated that's the way we do things. Then I asked why he couldn't schedule me 10 days out, and he stated that they've done business that way for 30 years and I'm not going to tell him how to do business. This company did not care about my time, or the fact that they did not meet their obligations and failed to provide the service promised. They violate their the Code of Ethics of the professional organization they are a part of, NESDA. How can a company stay in business for 30 years if that is the way they operate? read more

Sartor does a pretty good job, but do NOT ever give them the remote control if they are taking your TV in. Do not give ANYBODY your remote, not just Sartor, because it is extremely hard to get it back from whomever. Sartor did not need it (although their pickup guy said they did). Mine never left their truck, and they couldn't find it in the truck for quite awhile. It took me about 2-3 weeks to get it back, only with constant phone calls asking if they had found it yet, then if they had mailed it back yet. Of course I never use the remote - I use a universal, but I still want to keep it if there is some command I need to do that the universal won't. If anyone ever asks for your remote just say you lost it, and that will be the end of it. I'm sure this goes for ANY TV repair shop, not just Sartor. I really should have known better then to give it to them but, like an idiot, I trusted them with it. read more

I personally don't like to write reviews regarding poor experiences but I felt that it is necessary for this company. They were outsourced through Target Service Plan Protection to come and either repair or diagnose our tv. I received a call on a Wednesday that they would be coming the following day and would call me on the way. I hadn't received a phone call by 4pm so I reached out multiple times and was told each time that they would locate the tech and call me back. They never called back. I once again called to see what was going on and they told me that they would now be coming Friday at 2pm. I gave them until 5pm and nobody called or showed up. I called them multiple times and nobody answered the phone. Nobody called saying they weren't going to make it either day and now we can't get in touch with anyone period. I do not think this is how business should be done and therefore, I do not recommend anyone give them their business no matter how small or large the job may be. They don't respect their customers or their time. Plain and simple, GO ELSEWHERE! read more

I have never done business with a company as horrible as this one. They came out, replaced a power supply on my 52 in Phillips. It worked for a few days and then the same issue came back. This time they picked up the TV and took it with them. About TWO MONTHS later, I was finally told that they could not order the part that was needed...it just wasn't available. So, I told them I wanted my TV back and a refund on the power supply. They agreed to a partial refund as long as they could put my old power supply back in the TV before they returned in to me. Are you ready for this? This all started in January of this year (2013)...in is now JULY 8th and I still don't have my TV or refund. They have never returned a singe phone call they promised to return. The owner is fond of pretending he's not the owner and saying he has to "talk" to someone to get something approved. When cornered about not following up with you, he blames his aging mind...and then makes more promises he doesn't keep. I'm about ready to have the police pick up my TV for me. read more

This is absolutely the most unprofessional place that I've ever worked with as far as appliance repair goes. I originally contacted Mr. Sartor on May 11th and the interaction started off well. I described what happened to my 65" Samsung and he diagnosed it over the phone and asked for the model number. He gave me his personal cell phone number that I texted him a picture of the information. He said he could have it in a few days. Then over the next two weeks I would check in every few days for an update and he just left me hanging in the wind with an occasional text message saying that the part would be in in the next two days, there's a problem with this vendor, that vendor, etc...Then, May 26th, when the part finally came in and he promised to be at my house the next morning, he never showed up, never called. NOTHING! When I called to see where he was he clicked me to voice mail immediately. I left him a voicemail and he still never returned my call. That day, May 27th, I called Schussler Sounds in Denton. They came that day and picked up my TV. They diagnosed it, notified me of the problem, ordered the part, fixed it, and returned it. ALL IN 6 DAYS!!!! So if you want a lot of promises, a run around, frustration, and a waste of time, call SartorTV. If you want results and professionalism, call Schussler Sounds in Denton. read more
