However I've seen a lot of therapists in the past and I felt like I made a large amount of progress in only one session with her. I think Lauren asks excellent and helpful questions and would definitely recommend her to others.

I initially started seeing Lauren after reading a few Yelp reviews, and she has now been my…read moretherapist for over two years. When I first started seeing her, I was looking to find someone who had experience in dealing with trauma and anxiety, and now that I have been able to work with her through many different experiences in my life, I really look forward to having someone to discuss the trials and tribulations of my day to day. She makes me feel super comfortable - I can really speak with her about anything. She is completely nonjudgemental, and I can use the same candor with her that I can with some of my closest friends. She has also been very easy going about appointment rescheduling and always offers to find a time, or even to connect via Skype if need be. I really value my relationship with her, and am so glad I made the decision to start seeing her because now she has become an integral part in my self development. She also has the most incredible memory and always makes me feel not only like she is intently listening to everything I say, but that she genuinely cares about me. I highly, highly recommend her; in the time I've been going to see her I have made leaps and bounds of progress and I am so grateful that she has been with me through it all encouraging me to take steps in the right direction.

I have to add an additional review because since starting individual therapy, my husband and I…read morestarted couple's therapy with Jen. It's become time we look forward to each week. I think it says so much about Jen's objectivity, compassion, empathy, intelligence and expertise that my husband feels comfortable speaking with someone who I already had a relationship and rapport with - he has never once felt judged or like his comments were viewed in the context of anything I'd said during my individual sessions. She has truly saved our marriage on top of what she's already done for me personally. When I met Jen, I was suffering the darkest depression of my life. I'd gone on leave from work, I cut myself off from friends and family, and my marriage was broken. 1 year later and I've been promoted, I am in the most loving relationships, and my marriage is stronger than it was 7 years ago. The part that is so comforting for me (and my husband - and well, everyone who loves me) is that I have a support system in Jen if I ever go back to the "dark." It doesn't scare me anymore; I don't wake up fearing I'm one raindrop away from the abyss. I know that it can happen again, but that it will be different and better and that is truly because of Jen. If you've been putting off therapy or struggling to find someone you can connect with, I cannot recommend Jen highly enough. She is an absolute blessing in my life.

I feel so fortunate to have met Jennifer. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and…read morealso not afraid to challenge me in a safe way. As someone who has been to multiple therapists, I don't think I've ever gotten so much out of the therapeutic process before. Jennifer is deeply attuned to what's happening in the room - she knows when to just let me talk, when to redirect me, or when to ask thoughtful questions to get me thinking deeper. The other thing that I really appreciate about her style is that she is flexible - both in terms of her intervention style and also her scheduling. Jen makes herself available if I'm in crisis, which is invaluable as I navigate the challenging, yet rewarding process of self-growth. I would highly recommend Jen if you want a therapist that is warm, kind, and really knows her stuff.

I originally waited over a month to see Dr. Sabina because I needed a referral to a GI specialist…read more My appointment itself was rushed but fine -- the doctor mostly wanted labs, which I did -- but the real problem has been the front desk. The young receptionist at this office is hands-down the rudest and most unprofessional staff member I've ever dealt with. She lied to me multiple times, telling me she had emailed my referral (she didn't), and even claimed she was faxing it to my GI doctor "while we were on the phone" -- which never happened. I called back several times over multiple days trying to get this handled, but she kept giving me the same excuses and attitude. This isn't just about bad customer service -- my GI symptoms were getting worse, and I had already been hospitalized months earlier, which made the referral urgent. Instead of helping, the receptionist acted like my situation didn't matter, lied repeatedly, and treated me with zero respect. It's unacceptable for a medical office to have a front desk that is this careless and dismissive toward patients who are already in vulnerable situations. If you're considering this office, just know that dealing with the staff -- especially the receptionist -- may be the biggest obstacle to actually getting the care you need.
