It gets very crowded at the weekend and you are recommended to call ahead for reservations. The coffee is the best I've had! But it's also very small! The baiser cakes are presented nicely and the whipped cream tastes incredibly fresh. (The cakes consist of pastry base, fruit filling, and whipped cream topped with cake.) I had the Stachelbeer Baiser. The service is absolutely top notch. The waiters are so friendly and attentive. They have a warm manner with children. There's a little play area for kids in the back of the cafe so parents get a bit of a break. The location is right in the middle of the town, and there's a lot of natural light. We went for a Saturday morning breakfast buffet. Price: 15€ all-in and that incl. drinks! Really, you could have as many Lattes as you wanted. I posted a few pictures to show the buffet. It was complete, well arranged and delicious! What I liked the most was the service! The personnel paid attention to detail, knew before myself that I "needed" a new coffee and the made sure that the buffet looked the same until te very end. No empty plates, no "Oh sorry we are out of croissants" or "yeah the fruits are out" Just great! Whenever you are in Osnabrück, you need to check it out! BUT make sure you reserve a table.
