When I told the young man that some in my party had never had a Doener, it must have been a challenge :). Look at this! The meat was juicy, and lasted all lthe way to end of my Doener. Yes, I ate this whole thing! The vegetables were fresh, and the sauce excellent. I mention that the meat lasted all the way through my sandwich because in the States, the meat is literally on top and the rest is veggies. When I go here the next time, I am showing them what a Doener SHOULD look like. It was still hot in Frankfurt when I visited a few weeks ago, so we sat outside to catch the breeze. Everything was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. I am coming back on a regular basis, this will be one of my weekly stops again.

The ambience is a little sterile, but Naçi (the innkeeper) compensate it with good humour. You won't find any table decoration, but also no dirt. About 20 seats inside and 10 outside. If there are events in the town (festival, fair, "fairy tale sunday",...) the pub ist jam-packed. On these days, forget chatting and join the party! In the evenings, it may happen, that there no more Kebap is available. This happens, if the spit from the morning is used up. Indeed, it is every morning a fresh skewer placed (AFAIK chicken kebap, by the way). The flat breads are also baked daily.

The crunchy cabbage added to the overall texture and flavor. The toasted flat bread was warm and delicious bringing all the flavors together in what I would describe as one of the most delicious items I have ever eaten. The employees were friendly and welcoming. Being as I am not fluent in German this place was the perfect place to step into as I felt welcomed and treated by this wonderful restaurant.
