I was interacting with her from the get go - selecting dates, setting appointments, discussing wardrobe / color schemes / themes, the actual shoot and photos post that. We wanted to do a smash cake which Sara did an amazing job with and also took a whole bunch of candid & posed family pics. The angles she chose were quite different and we loved that our pictures didn't look like the regular stuff. She took care of all the props and the clean up after the smash cake! Unlike many other photographers the package price she offers includes full access to all of the digital photos at that one rate and no surprises. We would love to work again with Sara should we decide to take more pics in future. A thorough professional, super talented behind the lens and one who always wants to do more for her clients - there is a reason(s) why she and her photo business are so popular among the locals.

She has an impeccable eye for newborn photography, from backgrounds to props, to color schemes, baby poses and edits, her work is phenomenal. We had newborn pictures with her a few days ago and the way she handled and cared for my daughter made me feel so comfortable, it was obvious she knows exactly what she's doing! Her studio is beautiful and fully stocked with whatever your family needs to make for a comfortable session for everyone. Her front waiting area has snacks and entertainment for older siblings, she has a changing table with wipes for the littles, and was more than willing to offer a helping hand! She made us feel like family and so welcomed, we just can't recommend her enough! We can't wait for our next session with her!

She's perfect for event photography which is what I use her for. She is on-time, hard-working, and gets right into it. And the best part of it all, the pictures were ready in under 48 hours. That's IMPRESSIVE. I really liked Ashley and can't wait to work with her again! Loved the beautiful pictures she captured!

I tend to get really anxious in front of a camera, and don't consider myself to be very photogenic and so I was nervous for the photo portion of our days! Turns out, I did not need to be nervous at all! From the very first moment Ashley disarmed us and kept us comfortable. She was nothing but positive and--truly!--made us feel awesome about ourselves and the pictures we were taking. She is just a pleasure to be around and our comfort and happiness really comes through in the photos. And the photos are amazing! My daughter was nervous about posing and worried that she wouldn't feel natural in front of the camera, but Jessica has an incredible ability to make someone feel comfortable and bring out their personality so effortlessly. The photographs are absolutely stunning - beautiful, natural, and genuinely her, and my daughter loves every single one of them. Jessica was incredibly professional, kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process. You can tell that she truly cares about the people she photographs, not just about taking beautiful pictures. Her talent is extraordinary, but so is the person behind the camera. We are beyond grateful to have these photographs from such a special time in my daughter's life. She gave us an experience and memories we will treasure for years to come.

I seriously cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. I was a little scared because it was SO windy on the day we took pictures and I was scared about how I personally looked, but Jessica captured everything at just the perfect moment. Not too posed, but perfect candid moments. She was at the location before us set and ready to go, and she is very fun, personable, and respectful. We needed a wedding photographer for next year, and I was recommended Jessica, and I definitely know why. Her work is gorgeous and I cannot wait to have her as such an important part of our big day.

I recommend her for anyone looking to capture family photos.

I hired Liz as a 40th anniversary present for my parents. By far the best present I've given my…read moreparents to date (and a gift I will most likely never be able to match again...until the next time we have family pictures taken by Liz). Liz was a dream to work with from the first moment I contacted her...responding to my email sent via her website contact form within 15 minutes. Not only was her response quick, but she was very upfront will all the important details regarding her event coverage (hours, rate, deposit, final payment, image disk, online gallery information, etc.). From the moment the contract was signed, Liz started the planning process. Having never covered an event at our party location, she proactively reached out to the venue and scheduled a walkthrough of the grounds. It was evident in all our pictures that she had thoroughly walked the grounds and knew exactly where and when to get the best shots. Liz kept in constant contact throughout the planning process - asking important questions to give her a better feel for the day's events...was flash photography allowed at mass, was there going to be a cake, favors, etc. Liz did all the planning up front to ensure she didn't miss any pictures the night of the event and I can assure you she captured it all. Even though I was at the event, I didn't capture nearly all the beauty with my eyes that she did through the lens. I can guarantee, I will never let anyone else behind the lens to capture our family's memories. I only wish I had known Liz when we got married. To all future brides and grooms lucky enough to hire her for your event....you will not be disappointed. In addition to event photography, Liz provides family, child, and pet photography. We will definitely be using her for all our photography needs from here on out (and I'm sure if you use her once, you will feel the same).

During the session, she was personable, easy-going and both flexible in listening to my suggestions as well as offering her own. She was also very generous in trying to get as many usable and workable shots as possible, as opposed to merely just cutting us off right at the 30 minute mark (particularly since she was working with my 2 unruly toddlers and infant). Lastly, to cap off an already positive experience, she had our teasers up the next day (amazingly fast!) as well as our full album within a week. Impressive! Her prices area also more reasonable in comparison to some of the others I researched, particularly the mini-portrait session. Given all this, we will definitely use her again. Plus knowing how well our pics turned out, I'd happily pay her for extra services. Thanks, Liz!

Kat immediately made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely ourselves during our engagement shoot. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, especially when it came to all the little things I told her I wanted -- like my very specific request for our photos to feel grand and epic, but also romantic lol. She was always available by text or phone whenever we had questions or concerns. Weeks after our engagement shoot, I noticed something off about my dress, and she had edited photos back to me within hours to help solve the issue. Kat has such a vibrant energy about her that makes the photoshoots so fun! And that's before even getting to her incredible photography skills. She knows all the hidden gems around the city, how to navigate crowded locations to get THE shot, and how to capture a wide variety of moments while maintaining incredible quality. The photos truly speak for themselves. Kat and Brett together are an incredible duo. They seem to instinctively know what shot the other is trying to get, and it was cool to watch them flow together so seamlessly. I think that definitely contributes to their fantastic work. I'm not even sure what our next big event will be, but whatever it is, we're already looking forward to having a reason to hire Kat and Brett again!

I would highly recommend using BK Rose Studio for photos and know we will be reaching out again when we need more family photos taken!
