My eyesight took a turn for the worse after my dog chewed through two of pairs of my eyeglasses, and the pair of contact lens that I bought for temporary use dried up by accident. I've been putting off an eye check-up as I've been too busy with other things, but with the Pentatonix concert coming in a few days, I just had to have to do it. I certainly did not want to see only the blurred faces of Scott, Mitch, Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin on concert night!
Thankfully, while visiting The District Imus with my family this afternoon, we found a Sarabia Optical on the second floor. And they were on sale! I was attended to by a very nice and accommodating staff and optician, who checked my eyes and confirmed my eyesight did worsen a bit.
I had a choice between getting glasses or contacts again. I actually had eyeglass frames on hand, the lens of which I was just planning to have replaced. Sadly, they could not do it for me quick, unlike in other optical shops. I would have to wait a few days, they said. I settled for new contacts, then, which I got for only Php 399, good for three months. I prefer the short-term viability as I like changing my eye color from brown to gray or even purple!
This is definitely worth a visit if you want helpful staff and friendly service! read more
