Fries were tasteless and limp. Caesar salad with steak tips. Lettuce had plenty of crunch and a generous amount of it, cheese was grated rather than shaved, croutons were bland, and the steak tips were plentiful, tender and tasty. All in all a decent salad. Thanksgiving sub was good. I would suggest putting the cranberry sauce on the meat rather than the bread so that it doesn't make the bread soggy. Ham and cheese sub. Good. I just wanted to give a giant shoutout to the whole crew over there. especially the young girl who was working the counter. i ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and I was going to pay with Apple Pay, and right as I got to the counter, my phone died. She went out of her way to not only tried to charge my phone, but also paid for my pizza as well. little did she know I was having a beyond horrible day and that simple act of kindness changed my whole mindset . My food was crunchy and cold it was frickin cemented to the container I would not reccomend

I had a couple really lousy subs out of this place about a year ago. One was so stale you could have pounded nails with it. The other just tasted BAD. I had been a very regular customer up until that point. Today I decided to try Santoro's Halifax again..At about 2pm (not a busy time for pizza) I ordered a pizza and was given a number and a 20 minute pick-up time. I arrived about 25 min later. There were no other customers. No pizzas being kept hot on the oven and no sandwiches waiting to be picked up. My pie wasn't ready and, in fact had not even been started. Staff had several excuses none of which made sense. The offer was made to make the pizza "right now" but I declined. Three strikes and you're.....OUT. Great pictures and great looking food, not good for delivery! Ordered the chicken cordon blue sandwich and when it got here it was so cold and soggy it had to throw the buns away to eat it... do a better job of preparing and packaging your delivery. Horrible horrible horrible took 1 hour 20 Min to get my food I live miles away from the Place ! When the delivery driver came I was missing half of my food and it wasn't his fault he only had receipt's for what he gave me and my food was so cold! I called the pizza shop and they wouldn't refund me for the cold pizza said they would bring me a new one I said it took hour twenty min to get my last order I can't wait that long again and he said to bad no refund just new pizza ! We have now ordered from Santoro's pizza a few times and we are so happy that we did. Aside from being one of the few places that would deliver to where we live, their hours are great and the food is always hot upon arrival.
