This osteria is hidden in the beautiful small town of Spigno Monferrato. You are welcomed by Angelo, and his sister is the one in the kitchen. Angelo will come to your table and tell you what is on the menu that day. Always fresh, seasonal, local products. Last week, for instance, apparently Sage was the product of the day, for the chef made me a beautiful dish of pasta with sage butter, there was a meat dish with sage but also (very, very, VERY delicious) lime-sage icecream for desert. Except for us, all Italians. Good sign. We had pizza and seafood spaghetti and panna cotta, and white and red wine. Everything was delicious and friendly service!
