My friend and I both had the bbq chicken flatbreads, which were both excellent. The crusts were crispy, the chicken was diced up and spread out well, and the bbq sauce was drizzled on with care. After we were done with the pizza and drinks, the server brought out the pumpkins and paint easels. We painted our pumpkins and enjoyed looking at all the TVs and decorations. 50 Shades continues to be one of the coolest places in Old Town Scottsdale!

On to the food, the portion was massive. My wife and I picked on a few other things before here, but we both have healthy appetites. The black belt curry was rich, hearty and absolutely delicious. I still remember the potatoes in that Japanese curry - they were slightly chewy, creamy and I couldn't get enough of them. The braised pork belly was tender, rich, and very flavorful, not too fatty which is something you often have to worry about with pork belly curry dishes. All around fantastic spot and I would highly recommend. The installation at the shop when I was here was Saskia Jordá's Cacerolazo. If you're at Cityscape it's worth a stop since you get a shopping experience and get to see some modern art all in the same place.
