On course A, hole #8, par 5 from the gold tees. I hit my driver flush, tracking straight along the left side of the fairway OVER the large leafless tree for about 150 yards. This left me about 151 yards in to an elevated green that is wider than it is deep. I pulled my 357 Performance Hybrid and focused on making good contact. I hit it flush, It started left in a high arc and drifted right, landed the green and rolled right at almost 45 degrees to within 2 feet of the pin for a tap in Eagle. my first! There was elation!

Someone that provides information without having to wait until he feels like letting us in on his little secret. We would love to play there more but his demeanor never changes . otherwise the course is in ok shape- fairways are a bit sparse, tee boxes appear to be greening up nicely, looks like a lot of new sand in the bunkers, and the greens are a little bumpy and patchy but not bad.

Apparently the owner's other golf courses must make money as LLB will never be what it once was. I guess it must be a tax write off as it serves no purpose as a golf course. Played in the TopBuild Habitat for Humanity Golf Classic, great group, even better golfers! This course is challenging and made the good cause even more enjoyable. Stellar staff and even more well kept grounds at this resort. Everything is far. From the lobby to the pro shop, you need a cart. Staff here is incredible and so friendly and kind. They offered shuttles to the driving range before the tournament. I will say rentals were actually nice clubs, providing you a box of 6 balls (you'll need them all) and cost only about $90 to rent. I had the ladies Callaway Big Bertha Reva and we played several of my shots as best ball! Woot woot. While the event booked both courses at the Omni, we got to play the International Course. I tell ya, these holes are the longest yards I had my driver try to make serious distance. I don't recall anything short of 300 yards except on the par 3 and even those looked like you were shooting well over 150 plus yards. Don't go after lost balls. It's a death trap. Despite that, I never had to take a mulligan. Being a Denverite and former Phoenician, this course kicked my butt on humidity in mid September but still kept wanting to play more. 18th hole had more sand than a Saharan desert. Good lawd, talk about keeping your shot straight. The carts come equipped with electronic scorecard. As my fellow golfers learned, it will beep and shut off if you wander into the greens where carts are not allowed. If you're visiting Orlando, and not at Disney World, this should keep you challenged and perfecting that swing! I'll be back next year to beat my scorecard.

The housing along the fairways keeps you from getting to crazy with the driver so unless you're hitting the ball exceptionally well the day you play I recommend you don't swing away on certain holes and save those shots for when the opportunity presents itself. The courses here are alway immaculate and well manicured. The resort is managed well and all the members of their staff are exceptional. The amenities are first class and this place provides you a great opportunity to shoot a good score no matter what your skill level. I would highly recommend playing this course or the other two on the property as well.

There is not a lot of seating for humans, but you'll probably find yourself chasing your dog around anyway. The park is just that large. There is a dog water fountain by the entrance gate; though, on a hot day, we found the water was very warm. I recommend bringing a cooler with some ice and your own bowl for particularly hot Florida days. This fountain doubles as a human fountain, but I recommend you bring your own drinks. The above describes the large dog area. There is also a small dog enclosure, which I can't speak to. It did appear very shady, however. As in covered, not suspicious. The park is very easy to locate and is tucked away behind some residential areas. The parking lot is not huge but is a decent enough size. There is a short walk to the park from the lot, but the sidewalk is wide and well maintained. All of the dogs and owners that came in were very friendly. One dog was sort of nervous, but the owner kept him on a leash. That is great dog parent awareness and courtesy! Not to mention, less stressful for the dog. We were just visiting, but if we lived nearby, we would definitely frequent this park.
