UPDATE: Dr Akey moved :(…read moreWe are so heartbroken. He truly was THE best Pediatrician I've ever met. I wish him only the best! We have been to see Dr Akey 3 times now. I almost don't want to give a review because I'm selfish and want him all to ourselves lol He is hands down the best pediatrician. They don't have doctors like him anymore. We have a newborn and a toddler and he's great with them both. He's a "get on the floor with the kids" type of doctor. He doesn't push vaccines and is all about good health and great supplements. His office is very accessible with great parking and it's located on the bottom floor. They have cute decorated rooms and a sick room, as well as a nursing room. The staff is amazing. They are busy but you don't suffer for that. They run the office well and will take time for all their patients. Denise does both front and back office and she is always very sweet and caring with the kids. I've been to many practices where the MA is so busy and not happy and kids pick up on that too. Thank you Dr Akey and staff for your TLC! So glad I found you!

I had a telehealth call with Dr Akey. Needed some help over the weekend with issue for my son…read more Doctor understood and advised that a prescription would be sent as non prescription strength medicine was not working. I was relieved as this ailment has been going on far too long. I'm waiting for the prescription for a few hours until I see an after visit summary saying he decided not to send a prescription. It's a bullshit move as we could've discussed other options on the call. He's not a doctor I would go to again. I will report this experience to the telehealth provider and make sure I don't get him ever again.

So far so good with having my son go to this particular Pediatrics…read more When he was born I had not picked a doctor for him thus far and was a little worried about finding one so last minute. The doctor that was assigned at the hospital for my son was Dr. Mauer one for he two pediatricians at The Kids Specialist in Stockbridge, GA located 20 miles south of Atlanta. I then decided to stay with them due to the convenience. I booked an appointment with Dr. Clemons and I am so happy I did!! Initial Visit: -Our first visit was GREAT! The front office staff was efficient and helpful with the questions I had. Dr. Clemons was very knowledgeable and extremely good with my newborn son (she even changed his poopy diaper)! Dr. Clemons spent an adequate amount of time with us and we didn't feel rushed at all. Wait Time: The wait time can be fairly long (over and hour) at times which can seem like a bummer. Not for us because I know we will get the same quality service once the doctor arrives. Pros: Can make same day appointments, Hours, Open some Saturdays, Effectiveness, Knowledge of doctor, One on one time Cons: Wait time can be a little long, Front desk staff can seem a little unattached to some (Not to us though)

The doctors at Kids specialist in Stockbridge are amazing my children have been going to them for…read moreyears. Dr. Clemens is a young professional doctor that children of all ages seem to love. She is very knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I may have. Depending on the day wait times can be a drag but is understandable given it is a private practice with only 2 doctors. It is worth the wait especially when you can be seen with same day appointments. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate you. They also remember each kid by name which is nice! I recommend the Kids specialist if you are looking for consistency in a private office with friendly staff.

I came to Dr. Tejani for some skin issues to see if an infectious disease was causing my issues…read more Fortunately, it was not an infectious disease! I was really concerned and depressed over my skin. He reminded me that I am not a doctor and should stop self-diagnosing lol. But, any one who has any unsolved issues and/or an infectious disease, I strongly recommend him. He has incredible bedside manner and is non-judgmental. Mainly, he's a doctor who WANTS to be a doctor. He cares about his patients and wants to help them MIND AND BODY. I am grateful for my visit, and even more grateful for wonderful news he provided me!

I went to him after I saw 2 other doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Tejani looked at my history, spent time with me asking questions which none other doctor had asked me before. Now after 3months I feel great. He took care of me and probably saved my life. I would definitely recommend him to all. God bless him.

The entire staff at the PTC office is absolutely amazing! Our 13 yo son had received several…read moreallergy shots several weeks in a row (for seasonal allergies) with only very mild reactions or no reaction at all. However, last night he did have a more severe reaction, just before the 15 min observation period was over. Thanks to Danielle's (MA) THOROUGH education on signs/symptoms of anaphylaxis during our first visit, my son immediately recognized his symptoms, and notified me. Danielle *believed* him, then assessed him quickly and calmly. Within 1-2 minutes, his symptoms progressed, so she calmly notified other staff who arrived in seconds. Amanda, NP, Brandy, NP, and Jacob, NP were all extremely professional, calm, and thorough as they monitored and cared for my son. Three staff stayed with us for 2 hours until all of us (my son included) agreed that he was stable and safe to go home. Dr. Agrawal was in constant communication with his staff throughout the episode via phone (even though he was at an event for his new office) to ensure my son was improving, and to stay informed. He and Amanda also requested I update them later that night via cell phone to ensure my son was still all good. This was so comforting to my husband and I!! Again, I cannot stress enough how valuable the education on anaphylaxis was to my son and myself! Danielle explained the information in a simple, concise and easy-to-understand way that my son obviously remembered! He knew something was happening to his body because of that education, and he felt confident to speak up. Now if anything were to ever happen to him outside of that office (heaven forbid!!), he feels 100% confident he can handle it and knows he will make it through unscathed! That is so comforting to this Mama!! Danielle, Amanda, Brandy and Jacob--THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You all made such a difference in our lives last night! We will always come to you for all our allergy needs. Erin Schauer

I never felt so abused by my primary care provider (and I've had some real doozies in my day).
