I was on a Viking river cruise down the Rhine in March, fell in the shower and broke my arm. The hospital that treated my break gave me a strap sling that was quite uncomfortable. I looked for days during our travels for a proper sling, and finally found one at Schaub in Breisach. The manager, Alice, was so kind! Although we didn't speak her language, Alice was polite, professional and thorough in her working to help me. She found a sling in her back area, going to search twice through her inventory. Then she helped fit it to me, making sure I was comfortable. It had been a long few days leading up to this visit to the store, and I was emotional. When I started to cry telling her how thankful I was for her exceptional help, she also got tears in her eyes. Alice is a gem, as we say in America.
