Just ate here for the first time today, excellent service, friendly staff, and overall very clean. Try the biscuits for sure.

This time, not so good. The air was down. Really no excuse. There are 24 hr emergency HVAC people available and when I was here there was no one on site. If this were my business, I would have given either a discount or offered something for next visit. I sat in the doorway for a good 8 min before I was even acknowledged. This place is usually good, no great! So I hope this will be back to normal next week. And as the Duke I believe I have the right to comment as I wish. read more

I think this place is really great! I have been here a few times in the past and everything i have ordered has never let me down! Today i ordered the eggs Benedict and it was cooked perfectly! The eggs were perfectly poached with runny yolk and the hollandaise sauce was buttery and smooth! Me and some co workers decided to stop by for breakfast before we set up our booth for big hat days.. We decide to order some coffee knowing we had a long day ahead of us, to my surprise the coffee is awful very watery beyond belief.... Then the waitress comes to get my order... Ok, my first time at Sandy's.i had the country fried chicken and eggs. It was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, great batter, great gravy, eggs cooked perfectly. I've had country fried chicken out here but not on the menu at many places and when they do have it, it's not so good. This is just as good as when I've had it in the south. My family has been going to this place forever and it never disappoints! I always order the chicken fried steak for breakfast and never can finish it, the portions are huge! We were able to walk here, so can't speak to parking....had about a 15 min. wait for brunch/breakfast on Sunday. Arrived about 10:30am...the place was busy! Our waitress was nice and attentive. This is by far my favorite place to go for breakfast. The food is always consistent and good, and the staff always friendly. If you are a semi-regular, they'll even remember your name. I take my kids to Sandy's almost every weekend. We love it. It's now becoming a weekend family event with several family members joining us. The food is great and the service is exceptional. They know us by name and remember our usual order. Several of us in the party are health conscious. We can even find something great to eat while watching calories and fat. I love coming here to eat. Not only is the food absolutely fantastic, but the service is so personal. You feel like you are at a family members house eating grandmas home cooked meal. My wife and I are regulars. I order the 2 eggs with bacon, potatoes and whole wheat toast. I like my eggs over medium and they do it the best; bacon is normally crunchy but not burnt. The staff is very accommodating. See for yourselves! read more

We were in town for a concert at Save Mart Center. We needed a relaxing place to get some grub before heading back home. This place fit the bill perfectly. Great food. Fast, friendly service. We were there on Sunday at noon, and there was no wait. Most of their menu is breakfast items, but they've got a few sandwiches, soups and salads, as well. I have not been to Sandys in a few years, I had my car being serviced at 7 am so why not have breakfast. Ordered coffee, bacon, swiss, avocado, omelette. $10.25 comes with biscuits gravy and potatoes. I said hold the sides and just give me a "little "fruit on the side ( yes i try to keep the carb count low). That will be $1.50 extra.....what.......that cant be. I was told that's a premium substitution, that's fine just forget the breakfast then, apologies followed and I told the server policy wasn't his fault. I finished my coffee and left a $2.00 tip.....$1.50 is not going to break me but I wasn't going to give Sandys another dime on principle.....I will do my best to share this story as often as possible. I get business and profit, hopefully Sandys is doing better not losing money on my breakfast! read more

Probably one of the worst tasting breakfasts I've had. First of all, four individual servers came to ask if anyone took our drink order. Then, the coffee tasted like warm water. They don't offer half and half, only non dairy creamer. The skillet breakfast was totally over cooked and dry. French toast was poor quality bread. Save the money and eat at home. read more

We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We went on a Sunday morning and sat on the patio in the sun. We had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the prices were average and the service was awesome! When we arrived, we were checked on by at least four different people to see if we'd been taken care of.
