Then we had the desserts and the strawberry meringue had become infused with the plate, it was home made but had never been crisp on the outside so it was impossible to eat with out some serious power tools. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay at ystad saltsjöbad just a bit disappointed in the food vs pricing.

As we had the regional pass for the Skane region we were able to enjoy all the smaller cities located in this region. As most railway stations this one had a couple of stores for passengers waiting for the trains. In Scandinavia every station that we went to has an espresso house and a 7-11. This one also had a falafel shawarma truck right next to the rail tracks. Most trains to different destinations leave Ystad every 30 minutes so the wait time is very limited if you miss your train which are extremely prompt and leave exactly on time.
