I called the first evening, and then again the second, to see if housekeeping could come vacuum the room during their daily rounds. During both calls I was assured they'd do it the next day and both times it didn't happen. I just gave up. The bathroom was musty because there's no fan I could control. Ideally they have a negative pressure vent installed in the building to draw moisture out of the rooms, but not having an active fan made the bathroom unpleasant and stuffy even from a shower the night before. The towels had an odd odor to them, and the room smelled moldy. You'll be able to hear the cars on the street if you're on the side of the hotel facing it. Bring some earplugs.

The cabins are well furnished with a rustic atmosphere. The furniture is solid, not your average cheap "get it in there" junk. The staff is friendly, the cabins are always clean (except one accident, which was immediately resolved with extremely courteous service!) There's coffee and snacks with complimentary soaps and shampoos in each cabin. It's a little noisy from the highway but that's hardly noticable, given how comfortable the beds and loveseats are. This is our third stay with several more to go. Definitely recommend staying here if you have any overnight business in the area!!!

On top of that, the hotel needs major fixes. It seems like the rooms are cleaned okay, but there is rot, holes and discoloration throughout the room. I have higher expectations for Wyndham and they need to look into what is going on here. The stairway was disgusting and full of trash.
