And although the flavor was good it was indistinguishable from that other steak. So hopefully that can be worked out. It's so common for places to overcook little chunks of beef, but here it was perfect. Each arepa is big enough to split between two people, so the price feels very fair. The filling was generous, with beef packed inside and even overflowing out the sides. They also serve the arepas with a rack of five or six sauces to choose from. Some were spicy, and one had a sweet condensed milk flavor if you like a mix of sweet and savory. My go to ended up being this green mayonnaise sauce which I assumed was like some sort of a lime mayo, which added the perfect tartiness to the rich cheese filling.
